Hope they all got back in ok
Hope they all got back in ok
I rate Esse. Thought he did OK yesterday.Agree he doesn't seem to be able to beat his man and he holds onto the ball too long.
Good game. Great win. Never a penalty; could see that even from where I was.
I know I'm old and grumpy but can't people manage to contain their bladders for 45 minutes and also get in their seats when the game starts. Up down, up down. People in front up, down, up, down. Particularly when they come and go as a gang of 5-6. Rant over
Send them another email DougWas a bit disappointed to see people leaving last night with 7 minutes injury time still to play. The game wasn’t won and Derby could have nicked an equaliser
That stupid rule punishes the innocent by having to go off and the culprit gets to play on but yes I thought they didn't have to go off if theres a card shownI thought he didn't need to go off if their player was booked?

10000000000000000% NOWas 'the penalty' actually a pen
What I like about Ellis' performance yesterday is that you can see the massive improvement from Simms 1.0 and what the coaches have been working on.
I mentioned a few weeks ago how his hold up play and laying off had improved. Yesterday we saw him turn his man and run full pelt at the goal more than once - Vik style. He's not quite at the Vik level of converting those charges yet, but he's getter there and at least taking the ball away from danger now - when once the ball would have ricocheted off his foot towards our goal and to an opponent.
I note that Josh is back taking corners too and they are improved. Next focus must be finishing one-on-one if he's going to play as a 10 occasionally.
With the direction football is moving in tactically, players who really know each other and have good cohesion matter more than ever. Add in a top keeper and that is the formula for getting out of this division. He's right to say they want to emulate us.
I could see him building something at Derby if he's given time. He's a good manager.
While I totally agree with your post I still don't think he'll be here next season.
and the useless fuckin ref won't get looked at eitherThey won't even consider looking at it because there was contact between the two players.
Great quote from Eustace after being asked about the penalty.![]()

I suppose Fergie will come out in sympathy with him now, peas and all
No disrespect against Simms but I HOPE he is not here next season, he has scored some important goals at times and surprised us all, as well as himself by the look on his face, he seems a nice guy but we definitely need more quality for the prem and unfortunately thats not him! While I totally agree with your post I still don't think he'll be here next season.
The best quote of the season from the Leicester forum

Seeing their fans happy is the equivalent of contracting a virus that leaves you on the shitter for days
Really?Seeing incester where they are and potentially relegated will bring me just as much joy as promotion.
FootMob’s numbers has changed and our xG is higher now, I’m pretty sure they initially downplayed Rudoni’s two goals. The BBC also have them clear on xG, but it’s something like 0.9 xG for the penalty that shouldn't have been given. That was nearly half their xG.View attachment 50357
A couple of points on the pen.
the ref was desperate to give he. He was adamant it was a pen and would not listen to players or even consult the linesman.
Diaz actually dives. You can see him start to two footed jump before rushworth is next to him
Diaz didn’t dive he made sure the keeper made contact. Alan shearer did it all the time.
That's why we need VAR. The ref only sees it once, from one angle, and in real-time. Can't really blame the ref100% not a pen. Sky showed it from at least 4 angles and Rushworth got the ball each and every time.
