Agreed but I would ease off on the "a kid" stuff: he's a Premier League loan (and international!) who is expected to be one of our best players, not a youth teamer of our own for whom just getting minutes is an achievement.Do we win without that flash of magic ?

We certainly looked disjointed when Kelly went off. Hopefully his detractors will understand what he gives the team now.It was disjointed and we looked more like the away side doing a smash and grab than the home side. But new team needs wins to breed confidence and cohesion so I’ll take it all day long. Limp through Norwich then hopefully we’ve got a few key players back and the season can actually start.
