Now going to 10 men has given Robins an extra reason to cram behind the ball as we stand to potentially go 8 points off the play-offs.

Forget the play offs. How many points are we off 17th?

Robins won't go for it, he won't try to take the game to them. He won't switch from the system he plays when things happen in the game (going down to 10 players and being a goal down). So McNulty is now stuck out wide on the right and JCH is even more stranded.

He will be hoping we get a wonder goal out of nowhere for a draw.

I'll take that now, Nick !

Disagree today Nick, I don't think it was that bad. Red cards change games. We were well on top prior to the sending off and immediately after we were guilty of going long at every opportunity. It settled down a bit after another 10 minutes or so and I thought we tried to play the right way by keeping the ball a bit more. You can't go too crazy chasing a game when you're got to play with 10 men for 75 minutes against a decent side. We're always going to be vulnerable when we're a man down so we need to not panic when they make a few chances. Robins has now got a chance to reorganise a bit and give out more instructions.

It's not really a gameplan though is it? Hoping McNulty can pull something out of the bag from nothing.

Sometimes I think we’d be better off clearing out every staff member at this club and starting again with someone who can instil something different. Losing is built in to the fabric of this club.

We did try to keep the ball, but it usually either ended up being hoofed at the end of it anywhere or going out for a throw

He's put McNulty out on the right so JCH is even more stranded on his own.

No changes, I guess Robins is waiting for it to go to 2 before changes happen.

Sincerely hope I'm wrong.

True, but the old 'hoof and hope' to a lone striker isn't the best way of trying to salvage something from the game.

Yep, but my disaster-mirth hides an underlying sadness...

Typical, I come on cos I've got signal, and what happens? Willis has a moment of regrettable shitness and the resulting free kick deflects in.

Why isnt their player booked for time wasting? After the whistle he carried on dribbling and then kicked it away?

McNulty gets it on the edge of the area but tries way too much and then a weak pass to gRimmer they intercept.

I am calling it, I want him to change it as it hasn't worked for months. Let alone when we have 10 men and are a goal down.

He needs to get some bollocks and try and get us back into this game, instead of trying the same thing he has and didn't work when we had 11 on the pitch and went a goal down.

You didn’t address the TM point Nick. Was that situation the same or different? (relatively speaking)

What TM point? Have been through that hundreds of times.

Nobody seems to address the footballing points?

I’d hate to have watch Evans week in week out. He’s like a petulant little kid!

Haynes puts it straight out for a throw, that's got to be about 10 where we have just put a pass out of play.

Bayliss runs with it, takes a couple of players on but we don't commit anybody forward so he runs into trouble.

Comes straight back down as a counter attack where Haynes does the worst clearance you will ever see.

JCH gets fouled and rolls around holding his face.

Burge punts it forward but whats the point? We have absolutely nobody there and they get a throw in so they can slow the game down.

In ccfcway’s quote you replied too.

I wasn’t having a go. I was genuinely asking whether wanting (and getting) TM out in that situation, for footballing/results reasons, was right? Or wrong? .. in hindsight of course.

If it was wrong, looking at Blackburn’s situation now, should we look deeper than JUST the football issues - as well as the infrastructure of the whole club as a factor in this decision making?

Shipley with a decent pass to McNulty but he runs it out of play, for their throw in.

How many of Mowbrays games did you watch? His recruitment was awful.

JCH is deep in our half defending and gets fouled.

No doubt Burge is going to aimlessly punt this forward.

Not sure what you want us to say. We are a league two team, with no width, our only available winger doesn’t want to play for us and doesn’t care, we have a midfield with two kids in it and are down to 10 men against one of the form teams in the league.

It’s also the 2nd half of the season and history will show what that means.

This isn’t great, but it’s nothing more than I would expect from us
