Thomas is one of four changes for Mark Robins’ side that secured a 1-0 win against Plymouth last weekend.
Liam O’Brien remains in goal with Dujon Sterling, Jordan Willis, Dominic Hyam and Junior Brown as the back four.
In midfield Abu Ogogo partners Michael Doyle again and Jordan Shipley comes in out wide with Thomas on the other wing.
Max Biamou comes in replacing Amadou Bakayoko with Tom Bayliss sitting in behind him.
