We deserved to lose that. Not good enough in both boxes. Yes, we played well, we created openings, but relied on a wonder strike to get back into to it. QPR had 4-5 clearcut chances today. The most clearcut chances against us any team has created against bar the Luton away debacle.

They must have created one all half. Did nothing, got away with it. Won’t believe their luck

we don’t need that but we have spent in wages i suspect a fair amount on the forwards and most have flopped

Games like today are why we won’t make the play-offs. You just can’t afford to miss that many chances as regularly as we do.

Good teams grind out wins when they’re not at their best.

They had 4 first half.
Grey 1v1
Grey goal
Grey (i think) headed over from 6 yards
Left back open goal at the far post blazed over.

There's elements to be positive about but we have to be better in both boxes.

100% agree we looked like a lower team in the league punching against a superior side with loads of energy and endeavour but anyways second best in quality when it counted

Yeah, which is why I never thought it was a realistic target. And with 7 games in February we've got a mountain to climb

I agree. Just extremely pissed off at watching teams play garbage and get results.

As silly as it sounds it’s criminal to be blowing a top 6 spot

They had better chances than us should have been 4 up at half time

The harsh facts are we don’t have enough goals across the team to win games without godden.

QPR we’re outplayed today are on another day would have received an utter tonking.

Really disappointing result with the performance deserving better. Massive opportunity slipping away while the owners do nothing to bring in that little bit of extra quality.

Poor start from Bidwell who should do a lot better for the goal

And he was far too passive in possession.

If we were winning despite being shit I’d be glad we were getting away with it with time to sort it out.

This is just infuriating to watch

Thought the team were fantastic today - gave everything. Didn't deserve that and outfootballed QPR. Hate losing, but if we do have to lose a game, I'd sooner it was having performed like that. Fans were great again. Haven't looked yet, but suspect QPR fans will have been fairly complimentary about us. Gutted but proud at the same time. Football can be frustrating!

Two of our strikers are on 10 and 9 goals respectively. You can't ask for much more than that.

The midfield has scored 4 goals between them all season and aren't contributing. It is the biggest problem.

Patterson (one player) has scored twice that amount this season on his own, yet his club deem him surplus.

Illogical to suggest that we deserved nothing due to having less quality players

Gyokeres hasn’t scored since what early October and doesn’t look close to scoring again. At a guess since the Fulham game I’d say the team put out today has about 8 goals between them and most of them from defenders

He is deemed surplus because he refused to play not because of performance

Disappointing after another dominant display. QPR have two strikers on a collective £100,000 a week is the difference.

Kiss my arse. No he can’t put them away himself but he can make changes earlier instead of waiting until they score to do so.

I think they always looked more capable of carving out chances. We struggled to carve out a lot of chances even when on top

I couldn’t care less if we were playing WBA style football and winning. I know you’re a Brummie but it’s not hard to understand.

Nick gives us his weekly pick-me-up by phoning CWR to lambast Waghorn for not being a goalscorer and say we should have kept Biamou...
