You're right, no consistency- I saw there was a Stereophonics concert over the weekend, thousands of people in close contact for a couple of hours in a big sweaty closed off room. Based on what we read, thats inviting people to die.
It doesn’t look good though, launching law suits while thousands of people are dying. It's a real tricky situation.
They need to say that this is going to be around and we will be locking up eventually but it can only be done for a limited period or we fuck the economy and more people end up dying as a result. It's likely that a large portion of the population will get this and we need to manage it so the health system can cope. You will be locked up at some point but there is no point doing that yet.
No as hardly any will. The reality is pretty much every expert does acknowledge the virus will infect the majority at some point so you think Ireland are right in locking down but ask again in 6 months when most businesses are bust oh and flights come in and it all happens again
