Yes, if one section of the population is impacted at a higher rate than it accounts for in the population then it is disproportionately impacted.I seen an article today men more likely to die. does that mean us men are being disproportionately impacted?

That links to high levels of poverty which you could reasonable suggest means people from those communicates are likely to have little choice other than to stay working and are unlikely to be in roles where they can work from home.

I'll even explain what that means to you. If population group a makes up say 5 percent of the population but 10 percent of the cases of people with covid-19 then that means they are disproportionately affected. You then need to look at why.
