Like what was said earlier, gone from ‘if you’re young and fit you’ve got nothing to worry about’, to that. If younger cases doesn’t cause lockdown, nothing will.

I only wish some of the idiots having their little gatherings in the park read/watched the news !

I don’t mean you to be honest, you always pretty eloquently state a case with plenty to back it up. No issue with that at all.

Just amended my message as I know it wasn’t aimed at me, nor a majority of others. Debating the rights and wrongs is healthy

Said before we've got a "healthy" 13 year old in hospital here.
Again not much reported but 40% of US hospitalised patients last week were 20-54 years old.

Taken from twitter:

“I'm a Singaporean UK grad doctor in the NHS. I’m doing extra shifts during the covidpandemic as our overworked doctors are off sick. I'll be working in A&E from April as the outbreak peaks. Yet @ukhomeoffice is charging me £1,200 health surcharges even though I pay taxes and NI. The Chancellor of the Exchequer’s 2020 budget raised Health Surcharges, for a family of 2 adults+2 children, this is £2,188/yr and over 5 years, £10,940 Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, this affects us all.”

Ring you appear to have a habit of making statements that could be classed as personal insults without ever intellectually backing up why you belive your low blow of a comment was justified. This is in total contrast to Sheemee who I enjoy reading the throught provoking posts of even if I don't agree with all of the content.

Its a shame on a couple of levels.

Looks like things are moving against Cummings- one of the Conservatives’ main mouthpieces seems to have totally changed stance in 24 hours and is now openly blaming Cummings for the scientific approach.

We have now had our quarantine extended to at least April 12th. They expect next week to be our worst and be our peak and then the curve should flatten out. After being hammered the supermarkets are now empty and some are closing due to lack of business.

jesus... the only positive that can be drawn from this is that it might finally get through to people that they’re not messing around with just a head cold here, and start taking it seriously.

You accuse others (lefties specifically) of political point scoring and then say whatabout “that tramp in Islington”. Point invalidated in one post.

Sister in law works at McDonalds. Just recieved a whatsapp informing that all Mcdonalds will be closed as of 7pm tomorrow.

Poor fuckers got her own place 4 months ago and got a new car on finance 6 weeks ago. All zero hour contracts so lets see if McDonalds go on the good list or twat list
