Never said they were, but why should I be penalised for other peoples poor lifestyle choices.

Getting old is a lifestyle choice? Having a genetic condition?

My mate isn’t hard. I just know that an arsehole like you would turn him to violence with your bullshit. Given he’s trying to come to terms with something no parent should face ie the very real possibility that he may have to bury his child to something you say only kills people who are non of the things he is.

Believe it or not, I'm actually not an arsehole. Not only do I provide affordable housing as a landlord (yes, even to refugees (I know, I'm shocked too)), I'm incredibly generous, and only this week spent an absolute small fortune down Smyths toy store this week for orphans. Not asking for a pat on the back, and find it quite cringey even writing this post, but despite what you think, I'm not an arsehole.

Yes, which is why I know it's so bad, and how it's a choice. I also know how hard it was to lose weight and why people should be given plenty of support. Absolute beast of a man now.

Well....well done you.

However....had covid hit several years back, your future self would have written you off as colateral damage. Think on.

Cheers mate, yes, and I'm man enough to take responsibility for my own poor choices. If I died, then i would have had no one else to blame.

I’ve lost 2 family members to this… one old and one young and fit. You lose people you take it serious……I don’t want to lose anyone else so regardless of politics or your views on vaccines or the groups of people it affects… let’s give this virus the respect it deserves and get our masks on.

Sturgeons not happy happy unless she’s one notch above Johnson on the restrictions scale.

I’m seriously thinking about not bothering to fly over for Christmas - I reckon they’ll end up imposing more restrictions a few days before.

I never thought I'd say this(!) but in this instance they do actually seem to be being pre-emptive and cautious first.

Which is not a bad thing at all - but until the government starts leading by example it will be ignored.

Read today that hospital admissions in Gauteng are doubling every 5 days, with 28.7% of the population vaxed.

Lots to wonder about with the different demographics and how this will affect the UK.

This bit did make me chuckle

Not all overweight people are overweight due to lifestyle choices btw. Not all people have the time or finances to allow them to lose weight.

Telling them they have it coming if they die probably doesn't give them the confidence or self worth to lose weight either...

When I got my second dose a volunteer in the waiting room read out the time every single minute.
Not sure how long it would have felt for them, but that 15 minutes felt like an absolute lifetime to me

This was before their parties were public.

If it was now it would be 7 minutes tops.
