If we were told that we could return to full capacity at football stadiums soon, but the only proviso was mandatory mask wearing - surely you would take it?

Come on mate. You go on about mental health and then you make snide remarks about lock down lovers.
No one loves it. But we've had 130k deaths in a year. Some people find the thought of being part of that statistic frightening, no need to have a go at them.
Its a fucking scary disease.

Personally I think we're at the point now with how well vaccinations are going that I can't see any reason not to stick to the road map but I totally understand people who want to be a bit more cautious.

I've also had the jab as have my family members who need it most so I can afford to be a bit gung ho. Others don't have that luxury.

Save the outrage for god sake. The mental health line is low too (which is a crisis in itself at the moment largely due to restrictions).

It's facts. People in that age range of almost no risk. I have no problem with lockdown going on a bit longer, that's fine, get everyone vaccinated who's vulnerable. My issue is with the people that are scared and wanting to be locked up who want everyone to be like them, calling people cunts etc. Ridiculous shaming.

We do have a beautiful country. Say what you like about the beaches and weather in Spain, most of the country looks like a set from a roadrunner cartoon.

The mental health line works both ways. There are people who are worried about coming out of this.
There is no solution that keeps everyone happy or safe but we can have a bit of empathy for people who are in a different boat to ourselves which is why terms like lockdown lovers isn't really helpful and bound to spark a response.

That’s not the question. And you couldn’t guarantee throughout the whole time in the stadium that it was outside and well ventilated.

Other half’s dad was quite reluctant to get his jab after the embolism stories in the press. Had a brief word to clear his concerns and he got it yesterday and now feeling fine.

So you could then say they should be worn in the concourse and such areas but not in your seat.

I went to Crete in 96 and was there for the start of the Euros. I say I went to Crete, it was the middle of the night when we arrived, it was the middle of the night when we left so really I just went to Malia. Never saw Crete. Like all of Greece it’s the people that make it great for me.

Been twice there, Cyprus once when I was younger. Lovely scenery, always good weather, excellent food for barely anything and just very hospitable people. This year it’s off the cards but in the long run I’d love to have a holiday home out there.
