Hi,

Long time reader and first time poster. Sadly, the reason for my first post is to appeal for help in finding an avid City fan who has gone missing.

Graham Emery left home in Wyken on Monday morning to attend a meeting, however he failed to turn up and has not been seen since. He had left his mobile phone at home, and had very little money on him so the police believe he is likely in the Coventry area.

Graham is about 5ft 10in with a stocky build and receding, thinning brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing khaki trousers, a t-shirt and beige suede shoes when he was last seen.He was driving a blue Toyota Avensis, with the registration number FG58 OPA.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Horton at Coventry Police on
0345 113 5000.

Graham is one of life's good guys, a genuinely pleasant chap and his family and friends are desperately concerned, so if you can offer any inforamtion or any assistance in the search then please the police or myself know.

Thank you for reading, and I hope to post again about more positive things. Although, with the state of things at the City maybe not, but you catch my drift.

Cheers

Hi, I'm not much of a poster either and am not local now too. Put the same message on Gmk and between them they will do their best to find him.

Ohh dear. Hope you find him and he gets back to his family safely.

Have you a photo at all, or is he on Facebook? If we saw a photo maybe there is a glimmer of a chance that someone might just spot him somewhere.

I hope they find him but he is an adult who has been missing for 48 hours. Can you give more details, like where was the meeting? In Cov, Brum, London. Does he have a medical ciondition? I'm not being nosy or anything. The police won't be active because of the short time he has been missing but if we knew the destination of his travels and medical background we could help. We have fans in all parts of the country. We don't need to know his personal life, like if he had an argument before leaving, but just to leave your mobile at home when you are going to a meeting sounds a strange action. People would usually turn back to get it unless they are in a rush.

Found this.

A STRESSED building society manager from Coventry has gone missing after failing to turn up for a counselling session.

Graham Emery, of Ravensdale Road in Wyken, had been off work for several weeks and was due to attend a meeting on Monday to discuss his future.

However, the 44-year-old didn’t turn up to the 1pm session and has not been seen since.

Now police are asking for the public’s help to trace the missing Coventry father-of-two.

It is understood Mr Emery – a manager with Coventry building society – left his home at about 9am in his blue Toyota Avensis, with the registration number FG58 OPA.

PC Robert Horton, of Coventry Police, said: “We know Mr Emery had been struggling with depression and was worried about his career.

"Although he left in good spirits that morning, he has since gone missing and not contacted any family or friends since Monday morning. Everyone is concerned for his wellbeing.”

Mr Emery is about 5ft 10in with a stocky build and receding, thinning brown hair and blue eyes.

He was wearing khaki trousers, a t-shirt and beige suede shoes when he was last seen.

“I’d ask anyone who believes they may have seen Mr Emery, or spotted his car, to contact me as soon as possible, “said PC Horton.

“He left his phone and passport at home and, as we don’t believe he has access to a great deal of money, suspect he is still in the local area.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Horton at Coventry Police on 0345 113 5000.
