sale in principal agreed for 10m. How can sisu turn down an alleged offer of 7m up front when we are in a worse state than chesterfield? We have zero assets. Surely the shareholders need to be asking Joy wtf!!!
The SISU Capital shareholders are more likely to ask 'wtf' if she accepts that her failed business venture has cost them £75 million minus whatever upfront return they get from the sale. Otherwise she would have got rid years ago...
they seen checkatrade windfall now they want success sisu will take us to league promotiona nd fa cup victory! WE ARE BACK
Ccfc is stuck while sisu own the club. Moving forward the whole setup needs a cash injection year on year.sisu aren't interested.
Sisu own the club so can accept/reject any offers they want. That's the unfortunate fact of the matter.
I don't think the CCFC sale price is about the value of the assets, is it? It's about trying to recompense SISU to a level acceptable to them / their investors. That's why we are stuck between the rock and the hard place of either paying a massive severance fee or paying nothing and waiting for the court actions to be exhausted.
Didn't the Portsmouth fans sell theirs for 7.5M? Sadly we will never get to a point of sale with a clean one off bid, any deal with SISU will have to be significant upfront to cover debts but then caveated with additional future clauses down the line (and I bet they will probably battle in court on the interpretation of those at some point!). I just cannot see an exit strategy for these jokers, they don't care what we think as fans but no-one can figure out what the end game is for them.
By all accounts the Chesterfield takeover just as bad as our Dales one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Hector's House, Zsa Zsa the cat. Depressing what a minority we're in to actually know what you're on about.
Exactly, why would SISU sell to someone for less than a price they deem acceptable? Also when people talk of buying the club they aren't really talking about buying the company that is CCFC. You could buy that for the famed £1 but you would still owe SISU, Avro etc tens of millions. What the likes of Hoffman want is to buy the bits of the company that make up the football club (player contract, ryton, golden share etc) and leave the debt behind in Otium.
I will make a very bold statement If SISU keep hold of this management team and the nucleus of the current squad we will be back in the championship in 3 years. Then they will sell up.
So I have a house for sale worth £200K but I have struggled to pay bills and run or credit card debts on household luxuries I can't afford. I have run up debts of £130K. The buyer needs to then pay me £330K before I sell it?
It's similar to Sisu asking more for the club than it's worth because the owners have run up debts with it. Any better ?
Agree but it is still bonkers management and financial planning. How long will it take to build the business CCFC up from league 2 after years of neglect? How long will the litigation take with no guarantee of reward? You would think that a half decent hedge fund could take a decent lump sum, say 10 million and make it work for them more quickly than the above scenarios. I mean SISU do know what to do regarding investments don't they?
When Sisu apologise and leave then I will also. Apologies need to come from Sisu and not from anybody on here
Perhaps they would take that? Nobody has tested it. After the Dale Evans saga, I'm sceptical about Hoffman and his consortium's offers for the club. SISU's statements in respect of Dale Evans seem to suggest that they are open to offers.
