Not sure it is that positive.

We are just two points from automatic promotion and yet some are saying we probably won't even make the playoffs.

The chances at the moment of making the playoffs have to be very, very high.

we must have a better than 50/50 chance of making the playoffs, but automatic is still a long shot for me.

I think we're better than most those above us. The exception being Luton, who we've beaten comfortably once.

I'm amazed we are anywhere near the playoffs to be quite honest.

We should be about 4th from bottom with the really crap Burge and the dreadful Haynes and the awful Biamou and the useless Vincenti and the crap Doyle.

I think Mark Robins must be the biggest genius in the history of professional football.

He’s crap too when we lose.

in the last 6 games the form team in the top 10 is Mansfield, 4 wins 2 draws.
After that there are 6 teams who have won 4 lost 2, us, Luton, Accie, Wycombe, Exeter and Swindon.
So it's incredibly tight and I'm not sure I'd say with confidence we're better than most of those above us!

What a difference a day makes!

Last week lots of grumbling. Yesterday we could have lost, slipped further down the table and it would have been a lot more grumbling.

We won though, so we now need to give him the keys to the city.

Imagine if it is still like this on the last day of the season. A blanket finish with ten plus teams in contention. Our last game is Morecambe which is definitely winnable, but would be a very tense day. Should ensure a resonable crowd though!

would be madness, hopefully we're the ones to find that extra bit of consistency and pull away from it.

From what Ive seen there are only four teams in this abysmally crappy league that we are in that deserve to go up, because they play football.

Luton, ourselves, Swindon and Notts County.

Teams like Wycombe shouldn't even be allowed to callthemselves footballers.

Unless there is a significant uplift in form there is little chance of automatic promotion and play off is likely to be in the balance. We are likely to be 8th if we continue as we have been.

Wouldn't surprise me if things stayed as tight as a camel's arse in a sandstorm right up to the last game. Hesitate to say it, but given that we haven't fallen off a cliff since the turn of the year, the new signings looking OK, McNuggets in a rich vein of form, and confidence surely buoyed by a cup run, I think there's every chance we'll nab an auto spot. There, I've fucking jinxed it.

Thank goodness we've continued our good Christmas form, we'd be solid mid-table with anything less. Scary thought!! Very entertaining season so far though!

Morecambe could need to win for survival so is far from ideal but at least they will come to play and go all out for the win in that scenario.

Worst case is they need a draw as a minimum and park the bus and we need the win...

Don't bare thinking about

What about if they need the draw and we need the draw?

Can we play out a boring nil nil without Sunderland complaining?

It's a deal

* with a delay in kick off due to punters at the turnstiles moaning they are not in the stadium yet because 5000 turned up at 2.45

But the way this league keeps changing every time someone wins they go up a few places loose and down you go
It is not an easy call to make but I say win the next 4 games and up up and away we will go.
