Some places have us 1/500 for title and ipswich 66/1Be nice to get a win Friday so its a case of when we are champions rather than if.
I can understand that pricing. I cant see Ipswich winning 5 in a row. They will be shattered by the time they get to game 3 and 4Some places have us 1/500 for title and ipswich 66/1
Ipswich will beat Portsmouth tonight easy.We will regret that awful performance Saturday as if we don't pick up performances I can see them beating us to the title, that would be fucking terrible considering how long we have been top for.
Is that an example of Union Street or am I confusing town's, only ever Heard of it, straight up!Fair play to Portsmouth fans who at the start of the game make this jolly little tune sound like a rampaging war cry.
I want us to win on Friday but if we do, I don't want Boro to win on Sunday.Be nice to get a win Friday so its a case of when we are champions rather than if.
Im not gonna lie, I just want the title sewn up.I want us to win on Friday but if we do, I don't want Boro to win on Sunday.
I would obviously take it because I want us to be promoted above anything else but if I have a preference, it would be for us to secure the title on the pitch, at home.
Them drawing would be perfect and would leave us only needing 1 more point. Either way a win on Friday and this time next week we could be league champions.
Obviously, if we lose or draw at Blackburn, I want Boro to beat the absolute fuck out of them.
My social calendar for the next 2/3 weeks looks like this
17/04 - Blackburn - Promotion party
21/04 - Portsmouth - Title party
26/04 - Wrexham - Trophy lift party
02/05 - Watford - Combined Ipswich miss out on auto's party and wave Leicester off on their trip down the pyramid party
Really not sure why everyone obsesses over winning it at home. If we become champions on sunday we still lift the title in front of the home fansI want us to win on Friday but if we do, I don't want Boro to win on Sunday.

We need an iconic moment at the CBS.Really not sure why everyone obsesses over winning it at home. If we become champions on sunday we still lift the title in front of the home fans
If they do it after it will be low enough to make no differenceJohn Percy reporting the EFL are wanting to give WBA their PSR points deduction this season, maybe even after the season has finished
I'd be euphoric if we won it anywhereWe need an iconic moment at the CBS.
Most of our big days have been elsewhere in recent years ... Wembley, Wolves, Notts County, Boro ...
We missed out in 2020.
The home fans deserve to experience the euphoria.
The EFL take months to come to a decision. Even if they did do it after the season West Brom would appeal and on it would go.John Percy reporting the EFL are wanting to give WBA their PSR points deduction this season, maybe even after the season has finished
They need to take a bit of Aidy on board change the set up, how they play, and just bloody go for it!It’s all set up to be like one of those movies where the bad guy is preparing his victory speech, the protagonist looks down and out…then picks himself up for the knockout.
But they will, surely? We need an iconic moment at the CBS.

Yes but wouldn't want to wait until after the Wrexham game when we don't play at home againReally not sure why everyone obsesses over winning it at home. If we become champions on sunday we still lift the title in front of the home fans
Tbh i've heard it from not here, there is also one paranoid Boro fan who thinks it's a cover to keep him from being injured because they've already agreed a £20m deal for him.The Lesta fan that posts on here only when Lesta are doing well? Same i wanted to laugh at him
There's a chance of that being true I think?Tbh i've heard it from not here, there is also one paranoid Boro fan who thinks it's a cover to keep him from being injured because they've already agreed a £20m deal for him.

We wont have to wait that longYes but wouldn't want to wait to after the Wrexham game when we don't play at home again
Jeopardise a potential £150m+ cash injection to try and ensure a £20m injection? When he could still potentially get injured at home eating pasta or getting the remote control.Tbh i've heard it from not here, there is also one paranoid Boro fan who thinks it's a cover to keep him from being injured because they've already agreed a £20m deal for him.
I was making a jokey comment about our old friend Hackney FoxTbh i've heard it from not here, there is also one paranoid Boro fan who thinks it's a cover to keep him from being injured because they've already agreed a £20m deal for him.
They just need to shake it up somewhat, then he can sack Aidy if he wishes!I was making a jokey comment about our old friend Hackney Fox
I just can't see the title race going as far as the Wrexham game. Ipswich are not as good as many seem to think. They're the best at diving and cheating but that's as far as it goes. They have some good players but also a few weak links.A draw at Blackburn wouldn't be the worst result so I'm glad we can now afford it
That said I don't want the home pressure of needing to beat Wrexham to win title either
I noticed Furlong didn't have a good game last night, Ipswich were bright enough at the start but don't know what happened later?I just can't see the title race going as far as the Wrexham game. Very poor second half but Pompey played really wellI noticed Furlong didn't have a good game last night, Ipswich were bright enough at the start but don't know what happened later?
Would you like to explain why Grimes wasn't nominated? They’re the best in the division so surely can all step up to the PL? What about TotS it’ll be a clean sweep no?

It's football so anything can happen. But their confidence is shot to pieces. They don't have a goalscorer in their side. They're averaging nearly 50 shots per goal recently. Yes they have a lot of possession but do nothing with it.I still think Middlesbrough go up.
They're dominating every game - 70-80% possession. 25+ shots per game.
Have key players returning soon (e.g. Hackney)
Feel like their current dropoff is equivalent to Sunderland's last year - who eventually pulled through.
I do think they'll get back on track at some point (hopefully against Ipswich)
Southampton is game 4 for IpswichWho is that?
Southampton?
There's a bit of a difference getting given the trophy at home and winning at home to clinch the title in front of a full house and then receiving the trophy. It would be amazing if it could happen.Really not sure why everyone obsesses over winning it at home. If we become champions on sunday we still lift the title in front of the home fans
