Here he goes! Here? Who is outraged?
Millwall.Just looking at the next batch of fixtures. If one team has to win in the Boro v Millwall game (no draw allowed). Who would you go for?
Boro winning makes it more of a 3 horse race rather than 4 but obviously puts them closer to us than Millwall would be.
Millwall. We're up. Would be class if Millwall got second. Boro can go up in the play offs if they like, they'll have my blessing if they keep Southampton and Ipswich down.Just looking at the next batch of fixtures. We'll have to really spread Wednesdays cheeks to hit that.
So you sort of have to like him, just a little bit then ?I know you are not one for gambling, but I did put a bet on for us to get promoted the day we sold him. It's at about 99% cash out.
It would be total poetry for that to pay out the day we play them, so I have to let it run.
Oh dearA pretty nondescript article that hits all the notes you'd expect but I love this paragraph:
"Farage’s visit was openly discussed among the first-team players when they convened for training at their Playford Road base, several querying how he had been allowed to project himself from areas that are sacrosanct to them on a matchday. A diverse, particularly engaged squad was left unimpressed. It is the last thing Kieran McKenna needs, or deserves, as Ipswich prepare for an eight-game sprint towards promotion next month. Errors of this gravity touch every area of a club."

Reform’s use of the football club has shocked fans and left the ownership red faced but how did it happen?www.theguardian.com
I don't think parachute clubs in say their third year are anywhere near as powerful as first year ones though are they? By that time they'll be worrying about it running out and starting to cut their cloth accordingly. For example Sheffield United will be a year 3 parachute team next season but i think they'll start selling off some of the family silver this summer to ready themselves.Nice to see team like Southampton and Ipswich fail but is there a case to be heard that it's better they come up with us as if they don't and we do go straight back down there could potentially be more parachute payment clubs?
Parachutes run out for all of them after 2 seasons, you only get a third if you stay up for at least a season.I don't think parachute clubs in say their third year are anywhere near as powerful as first year ones though are they? Oh fair enough. Sheffield United will be done as a force for a while then and Ipswich/Southampton can get in the bin.Parachutes run out for all of them after 2 seasons, you only get a third if you stay up for at least a season.
Considering Southampton are if anything the most arrogant of the 3 yet were the shittest of the shittest 3 relegated clubs in PL history, they need to stay down for a good while.Oh fair enough. Sheffield United will be done as a force for a while then and Ipswich/Southampton can get in the bin.
they are horrible smug pricks aren't theyConsidering Southampton are if anything the most arrogant of the 3 yet were the shittest of the shittest 3 relegated clubs in PL history, they need to stay down for a good while.
To repeat, last season’s bottom 3 were worse than any other bottom 3 since 1993. If you’re the worst of the worst it really is time to just be humble.they are horrible smug pricks aren't they
A gnat's whisker from the worst top-flight team in history..Considering Southampton are if anything the most arrogant of the 3 yet were the shittest of the shittest 3 relegated clubs in PL history, they need to stay down for a good while.
I guess they'll need to parachute payments for the QCs they have on speed dial.To repeat, last season’s bottom 3 were worse than any other bottom 3 since 1993. If you’re the worst of the worst it really is time to just be humble.
Exactly. A mere 26 points off safety.A gnat's whisker from the worst top-flight team in history..
One point more than Derby got. One.
Close.Exactly. A mere 26 points off safety.

I would like to think that our team will be 'up for it' to get one back for beating us at theirsI would like Wrexham to lose a play off final but I just can't risk them being in the play offs and winning.
Hopefully we can smash them 2nd last game.
Derby are another one. Every time I watch them they seem like they genuinely can't play football. Then I check their results and they win another two games.
Watford also odd. World beaters on their day, but sometimes they just act like they turn up and can't be arsed. Kind of like the French.
Not sure where they get the money from thoughAgree. Might even sneak in. If they continue to recruit as well as they have done recently, can see them “doing a Cov” next year.
They've already blown their parachute paymentsI don't think parachute clubs in say their third year are anywhere near as powerful as first year ones though are they? It's funny that I haven't even looked up who might be joining the Championship from League One.
I usually have a gander, but we have been top for so long, it just doesn't seem relevant and that's not said with any kind of degree of arrogance.

Just like it's disrupting them and it's interesting that it seems their Chairman is lying to people. I hope it drags on as it seems the team are not happy as well. They shouldn't have had him there, but this is going beyond bedwetting now.
This is much better as a football thread.

Hope Rochdale do it for Perry, and Ebanks-Landell and Rodney and Hiram Boateng...well, not so much BoatengHopefully Rochdale do it for Callum Perry, but really is about time they adopted 3 up 3 down to L2.
*edit, didn't read your bit underneath. I wholeheartedly agree!![]()
Luncheon meat? No, I think you are getting confused.
Some thought he was at West Ham
and some thought it was here at the City.
He eventually turned up at Leicester as Reformed Ham
