Watford drawing twice with Sheffield Wednesday and needing injury time equalisers to do so on both occasions is criminal. They are such a weird team.

Watched them Leicester at the weekend, good up until the 18 yard box and have clearly got some decent players but somethings just not right with them.

Some very talented individuals. You get some teams who are better than the sum of their parts, i'd say Watford are a classic example of the exact opposite.

I think Watford are overrated by our fanbase following the game against them at the CBS.

They had a cracking second half and really came at us but that's because we were just seeing through the game that we'd won in a half. If it was in any danger we'd have had multiple gears to go through.

I may be going mad, but didn't they have some great chances in the first half too?

Several decent posters were lost. I don’t remember numbers specifically but at least one it was because of the racism on here and nothing being done iirc. Another because of transphobia which I’m probably partly to blame for. It does drive people away when arseholes get a free pass. A large reason GMK died was lax moderation and trolls running wild. Most people just can’t be arsed with it. It’s killing Twitter and BlueSky as well. A very noisy 5-10% can drive everyone else away if not managed properly.

Drove away that much they still post. :ROFLMAO:

It's always those who shout "inclusivity" but then when people have different viewpoints or political views they dont want them included.

Might make sure I tell everybody I am never ever ever ever ever ever ever going to a city game again over and over again and just go with a different coat on.

I agree, i think there were some who thought they might catch us at one point
They do have some talented individuals though imo.

Do they? I don’t have access to people’s IPs so I don’t know if people are coming back with another name.

It's funny that I haven't even looked up who might be joining the Championship from League One.

I usually have a gander, but we have been top for so long, it just doesn't seem relevant and that's not said with any kind of degree of arrogance.

They will surely have to sell some of that stuff off to stay afloat I’d reckon.
Delicious isn't it. Fatawu will go for big money and they'll be able to sell Monga for quite a bit too as Prem clubs will pay for the potential. Those values drop if relegated though and i don't see too many others being in high demand for the wages they'll be on. That wage bill could be crippling in League One.

I wonder if they even expected it and had relegation clauses.

I sure i read somewhere that most of these players did not have relegation clauses upon relegation from the Prem. So i think we can assume nothing is in place for League One relegation.

There is also the added tainting of these players by how poorly they’ve performed this season.

A pretty amusing thought is that Wout Faes still has a year left there and has performed terribly at Monaco. He could be turning out for them away at Bromley on the opening day.

Deleted member 5849 came across like a decent poster. I didn't really see why he left but I think he fell out with some on here.

I'm not getting usernames just deleted member 5849. So not sure if we're talking about the same person, but I have been threatened multiple times by that northern wisdom on here just for having different views on things. Glad he's flounced off tbh. This place is better without him.

Because Farage would then say he’s been marginalised and the “establishment” is trying to stop him - as he said I’m sure that’s what he actually wanted
He might well have done that but it would look stupid even for him. No one, political figure or not, would be allowed to do a whole promo shoot on a stadium tour.

Anyway turns out he was invited by an Ipswich exec and the club have just cocked up their response to it.

Monga was never in our Academy. He was picked up by Leicester scouts playing locally. He probably knows a lot of our Academy lads from school and grassroots football.

Was thinking about the possibility of tempting him back to his home city. But for such a potentially big price tag, he hasnt really set this division alight. We would be paying for a project and not a PL starter. Not sure we would be in the position to do that.

Basically nobody at Lesta has covered themselves in glory this season except for Jordan James who’s not even their player. Aside from him I wouldn’t even look at any of their squad.
