I’m sure they regret it happening but it would have been madness to stop it half way through
If they didn’t know it was going to be presented as an affiliation / collab then when he started pulling out the Farage shirts and hanging them round the dressing room I think someone wouldve been within their rights to say this has gone beyond just a stadium tour and say we can’t allow that.

I suspect though, they must’ve known what was happening / agreed prior which is just bizarre they would allow it.

I doubt they did know and in reality who then would be there to stop it? A few low paid staff. Farage would have then milked it for all it’s worth. He actually probably wanted to be stopped so he could then be the victim.

Desperation, grifters gonna grift!
Dangerous for them, but maybe Trump could learn something, not the WC is it.
So he ‘wins’ attention whether he’s allowed in or not. Should have been told yes if he had no photography.

The dressing room full of shirts with his name on suggests the club at least knew in advance.

Agree with the last bit. If you think Farage and his camera crew are just wondering round as part of a normal tour without senior staff signing things off though then I think you’re being a bit naive.

Inviting this festering c**t of rotting abortion piss into your club is unforgivable.

I don't care that Reform is a PLC, I don't care that he hasn't tagged the club in the post. If they invited him there they are in the wrong. If they didn't and they don't call it out as being unsolicited, they are in the wrong.

He is pure unadulterated evil and represents everything that is wrong in this country right now as well as being the main reason for it being that way too.

There is no place for this in football. Whether it is reform/tory/labour/greens whatever. Politics is so divisive, and supporter bases so diverse that as soon as shit like this starts happening, a portion of your fans will always feel alienated.

I genuinely feel sorry for those Ipswich fans that aren't knuckle dragging, racist, flag-shagging, homophobes that have to live with this skidmark of a stain on their club for the rest of their lives.
Don’t hold back 😆

No idea, it bugs me when any politician whatever their place on the political landscape start hawking around football clubs when it comes to voting season

I hope we steer well clear, at a time when everyone at the club is feeling positive and singing from the same hymn sheet it would feel like an unnecessarily divisive thing to go and do

Starmer has been "Hawking around" Arsenal Football Club for many years. 🤮

May be reading between the lines too much, but he has hinted at people at the club have told him there is going to be a managerial vacancy in the summer…

I’m sure they both are, don’t really care what their private political opinions are though. When you start nailing the club’s colours to a certain political mast however, nothing good can come of it.
It’s just a bit cringe as well. Political parties releasing their own branded memorabilia, fine even though it’s not my cup of tea.

By and large, keep politics out of football and the clubs should be neutral.

The shirt pic in the changing room
Was Ai I’m sure - few posts on fb want to make an official complaint - but they have been duped 😆 however it is his local top club to Clacton

One thing I’m not is naive - I can predict pretty much how this played out
