Jesus, celebrating like they have won the cup

Fucking embarrassing, I can understand a win and celebrating but why the fuck was Sam McCallum holding a camera and videoing it against bottom of the league lol 🤣

Still in the relegation zone hope sheff utd go down.

Just seen an ipswich fan on social media say its the worst championship in history and coventry arent that good and are just riding a wave

My initial thoughts were that ofcourse it was much better quality when ipswich managed to come up from league 1 and finish 2nd with pretty much the same team , absolutely must have been much better ofcourse .

The league is more competitive than ever with more money being spent on wages and transfer fees than ever with the promoted teams having more money than ever to spend .. every year i hear that its getting worse and as ive stated before it cant be a much higher standard than the national league at this point 😆

They just cant stand that they havent been able to come down with leicester and southampton and smash it , which in itself tells you that ....... ITS STRONGER THAN BEFORE

I saw some Norwich fans moaning about how shit the league is this season because we’re top and ‘they lost to Wrexham’. Which we did…after winning 6 in a row and have followed it by winning another 3 in a row.

The underlying data we have shows it’s no fluke and the only threat to our promotion prospects at this point is an injury crisis.

Fans will say these things because we're top of the league and they ain't, Norwich losing every home game isn't because the league is shit it's because they are a shit team, Ipswich fans saying we're not that good yet we've score 43 goals and coupled with the fact they've not smashed the league like they thought they would.... Sour grapes

And what does being second bottom of a shit league make you? A steaming turd of a team.

They wouldn’t have finished in the Top 2 had Leeds not bottled it big time.

The league isn’t bad, it’s competitive and with Southampton and Leicester being basket cases, is it to anyone’s surprise that’s it’s an open league?

My prediction is that we’ll finish Top 2 with Ipswich and Leicester*, Southampton and Blues competing for playoffs.

*dependent on the extent of their points deduction.

Who do you see getting relegated MMB? Find it hard to believe that bottom 3 stays as is.

Sheff Wednesday is the only dead cert. I genuinely think Norwich are in serious trouble and could get relegated, especially if they get Manning’s replacement wrong. They’ve lost all 7 of their home games and can’t afford to have a home record that bad in any league, Luton and Plymouth only lost 7 home games last season. Losing 10 home games is usually a sign you’ll be fighting relegation at a minimum. For context, Norwich lost 5 home games in total last season.

After them, I think Pompey, Swansea and Oxford will be there abouts down. Pompey’s home form kept them up last season and this has dropped off year on year. Those 3 teams are statistically bad and with poor home records.

Outside of that, keep an eye out for Charlton as their bubble may burst. Wrexham, Derby and Hull are all over performing the xG significantly so they should slide down the table but can’t see them getting dragged into a relegation dogfight.

My gut feeling is that Clement is a good appointment who should steer Norwich up the table, but I generally agree with the rest.

Like at the top end, there’s one stand out side but the rest is something of a scrap.

It's just strange how everyone is saying it's a shit league just because the parachute teams ain't occupying the top 3 and brum/Wrexham ain't steam rolling it, Norwich are shite and deserve to be there, losing every home game is criminal
If a team with Sargent and Kvistgaarden up top are second bottom I'd say it's a pretty strong league tbh.

9 points from 16 games is grim and my immediate point of reference is Luton last year. The belief was that they were also too good to go down, hired a manager who looked good and despite an uplift in form in parts, weren't good enough.

If Norwich lose v Oxford tomorrow, they're in big, big trouble. Not many teams stay up losing 10 games at home and bearing in mind they're on 7 already, they still have the following to play at home:
- Southampton
- Watford
- Stoke
- Birmingham
- Sheff U
- Ipswich
- Blackburn
- PNE
- Us

There's comfortably 4 more home losses there, that's being cautious. A lot of those teams are either top half/playoffs in the table and teams like Watford, Southampton, Blues, Blackburn and Ipswich are all top 6 in the xG standings. The timing of that match is spicy too (week after easter) so could be Norwich fighting for survival and to spoil Ipswich's promotion/title run.

Josh Sargent will surely be on the move in January if this carries on too I’d imagine. Must be seriously regretting turning down Wolfsburg in the summer.

He didn't do too bad last season did he getting Bristol City into the playoffs
Consensus among the Bristol fans is that was despite rather than because of his efforts.
Given Bristol massively over performed the xG table last season, it was a sign of things to come and the continuity of Bristol's form under Manning's replacement suggests it isn't sour grapes from Bristol fans. Recalling our game v Bristol last season (away), they scored a low xG chance and not much happened afterwards.

IT makes me laugh when teams below us seem to think that saying how shit the league is this year is the only reason we're top is some sort if insult to us.

Loads of West Brom Fans were saying it after Saturday and didn't seem to realise that, by their own logic, they are the 17th shittest team in a horrendously shitty league.

The fact that we are miles ahead of everyone right now just means that we are a class above the rest of the shite.

Absolutely, after Xmas 2024, we were the 3rd best team in the league. Only Leeds and Burnley Got more points than us and we didn’t win an away game from March.

The promoted team from L1 are stronger than previous years and the relegated teams are statistically good (bar Leicester) but their results have not matched that.

People seem to forget that were arguably the form team going into the playoffs last season and had it not been for Ballard’s header, a penalty shootout for the playoff final.

The consensus at the time was that we were the best placed team to get promotion for this season of the non-parachute payment teams.

I’ve absolutely rattled Sheff Utd fans on TikTok for their ‘over the top’ post match celebrations. I know it’s a Derby but come on, they are bottom and the whipping boys 🤣🤣 absolute tinpot they are

It's a parachute team punching down on a team in administration that will be lucky to finish the season. A parachute team that have been pathetic themselves this season as well and could easily go down.

Well done blunts massive 6 pointer win and kicking them while they're down 🤣🤣

Lampard has managed one game off a season's worth of games for us now (45), winning 89 points. That tells you everything.

Birmingham just released ticket price details of the clash with us
£40 adults but saw someone say lower GM £35 what ever that means.

A win tomorrow and he moves up to 2 PPG on the dot.

It goes without saying that he came in such difficult circumstances and took a while to get his methods coached into the team as well as injuries to key players at the time.

All things considered, this season isn’t a fluke. It’s real and if we get Xmas top of the table, we’ve got chance of winning this division.
