i hope it is. it’s absolutely brilliant.

Wish we had the bollocks to do something like it. Imagine a letter like this to sheaf before the wrexham game

There would be a shortened version for us:

Injured again, huh? Ah well.

Norwich being completely normal ahead of the Old Farm- an 'open letter to Marcelino Nunez':

Dear Marcelino,

I hope this letter finds you, but not well, with all things considered.

By now, you’ll know exactly what fixture is looming on the calendar. The East Anglian Derby. Carrow Road. Your old home. And I feel it’s only fair that all of us at Norwich City give you a proper heads-up about what awaits you when you step back onto that pitch.

You’ll remember the place, of course. The noise, the closeness of the stands, the way the Barclay can feel like it’s right on top of you. You’ll remember the songs – some you’ll have heard in your name once upon a time when you truly knew what it meant to play in yellow and green. You’ll certainly remember scoring in this very game two years ago. But this time, they won’t be singing for you.

Football moves quickly. One minute you’re pulling the strings in midfield, a fan favourite, a Derby Day hero when we thought the unbeaten run was going to end. Next, you’ve crossed the divide to those lot. That alone is enough to turn our admiration of you into something far less welcoming.

Don’t expect indifference. That would make it easier for you. We don’t want that. What you’ll get instead is 90 minutes of relentless noise, every touch scrutinised, every mistake you made cheered like a goal. The reception won’t be polite applause or a quiet acknowledgement of what you once did in yellow and green. It’ll be sharp, loud, and unmistakable.

And yet, beneath it all, there’s something else – something you’ll probably feel but never hear after you refused to stay. You were appreciated here. That doesn’t just disappear. It gets buried under rivalry, pride, and the simple, unbreakable rule of this fixture: once you’re on their side, you’re one of them.

Saturday will not just be another game in the Championship, and you’re not just another opponent. Your return adds an edge that didn’t need sharpening, but now absolutely has been.

So when you walk out at Carrow Road again, take a moment. Look around. You’ll recognise it – but it won’t feel the same. And it never will do.

And when the noise comes, understand this: it’s not personal… except it absolutely is.

No regard whatsoever,

All at Norwich City Football Club

ChatGPT message to Sheaf

Ben Sheaf,

Where do we even begin…

First off — genuinely, we’re gutted to hear you’re injured again. Seriously. No sarcasm there. It’s brutal, and you’ve had more than your fair share of it. Wishing you a proper, solid recovery this time.

Now… about the goodbye we didn’t give you. Yeah — that’s on us. But you have to understand the chaos. When someone slaps £6–7 million on the table for our often-injured backup defensive midfielder, alarms start ringing, papers start flying, and deals start getting done before anyone — including Wrexham — has time to blink or come to their senses. It was ruthless. It was fast. It was… business.

But listen — credit where it’s due: thank you for paying for Frank the Tank. A legacy move, that. You’ve left your mark in ways spreadsheets can’t measure.

And one more thing — we need answers. Real answers. Is Hyam EVER going to start posting on SBT again, or is that chapter gone forever? Don’t leave us in the dark here.

Recover strong. Come back angry. And remember — you might be gone, but you’re definitely not forgotten at least not by Earlsdon Sky Blue anyway.

🔥

He's pretending to be a bus because Athletico Park the bus.
Hopefully he got hit by a actual bus leaving the stadium.
This is the daftest bit of all this. He had to explain that he was a bus, otherwise we wouldn't have got it.

He could have just as easily have been a train (actually, it's so much more like a train than a bus), he could have been a truck, or coach, or car. My first thought was he was acting out a scene from Bicentennial Man

The guy needs several more lessons at mine school

He could have been anything. What he is is a sad boring twat.

I see that West Brom are unbeaten in 6 games and recently drew with Southampton at St Mary's and beat Hull 3 nil at home.

Could well get something out of tonight's game against Millwall
