Could be wanting the club to go bust so a different dodgy American can take over and let you spin on the chair.Yes wanting your club to lose millions to stick it to some councillors you’ve convinced yourself are evil incarnate is perfectly normal. You are as always having a normal one.
Nice to see Doug making an impact on the new playoff format:
"And thanks to a suggestion from Coventry City owner Doug King, the team that finishes third in the Championship will get the added advantage of playing the lowest-ranked team that reaches the semi-finals, which is another tweak to the National League’s fixed bracket."
I still think it's a big pile of shit, though.
you're not seriously suggesting we could've turned round and spent £50m on players
Could be wanting the club to go bust so a different dodgy American can take over and let you spin on the chair.
Why should he when we will be in the premiershipOn the flip side,Frank doesn't really give a shit about the new format
Those are certainly words
I don't understand how any fan can get carried away after what we seen already this seasonHighly unlikely its comfortably 90%
I think gates are up all over the place. I’m amazed at some of the attendances clubs are getting. Even National League gates seem to have rocketed. While midweek attendances are lower, they are not hugely different to weekend gates. I’d be surprised if we are not pushing 28k to 29k next Wednesday with Preston’s traditional poor away support adding to that.
Not saying I support the extension of the play offs but attendance wouldn’t be a reason I would be against them.
Coming soon. Top 2 go up and those in the top 16 make the playoffs. Bottom 2 get relegated and bottom 8 are in the playoffs for the last relegation place. What a load of shite this is! Constantly pissing around with the beautiful game making it more unbearable year by year.
Hopefully puts the pressure on the sister shagging fox botherers down the M69 to get a result tomorrowwow 1-3....deserved really, as Oxford have had tons of chances
That's exactly what I'm hoping. Curiously Leics have a great record against Ipswich...Hopefully puts the pressure on the sister shagging fox botherers down the M69 to get a result tomorrow
The “hill” I’m on is again that spending £50m on paying off the stadium mortgage is less beneficial to our long term financial stability than spending the same £50m on players in an attempt to stay in the Premier League
He is the sort of person who'd rather rent than buy so he can put his additional capital in stonks on his sigma grindsetIt doesn't have to be a choice between the two, does it? I don't see any evidence that buying the ground had an impact on how we approached the season. We had a squad good enough for top six. It over performed and we then added what was needed for a push in Jan. I get what you're saying, just don't see the link.
