We managed to be the best of the rest and I’d back us to manage that again. We do need to get our defence and goalkeeper recruitment right though, conceding so many poor goals makes the task harder than it needs to beAt least we'll (I think) be higher up that food chain this time
Going off that he never was due to sign for themDavid Brooks - due to sign for WBA - gazumped by a yet unnamed club believed to be either Sheffield United or Southampton.
Medical was booked apparently.Going off that he never was due to sign for them
They havent signed Galbraith have they?Charlton have made a couple of astute signings in Kaminski and Galbraith
They havent signed Galbraith have they?
Think they had a bid for him. They've signed some lad from Stockport thoughNo youre right, fuck knows where i got that from. Saw it this morning cant find it now
Probably just misread it front him being linked

Orient want north of 1.5 million though. Doubt we pay that for an Allen repalcementIf Allen leaves as we're told he probably will, Galbraith feels like the ideal upgrade as he can cover midfield and RB if needed, a bit like Eccles.
Doubt we pay that for an Allen repalcement
I also dont see him coming as potentially a 4th/5th choice. He is linked heavily with Swansea where he would walk into their midfield from the startI could see it with him being able to cover a couple of spots. Just as likely one of the U21s fills that role though tbf if Eccles stays as well.
Good to hear, but hard to know how it can be achieved without the club's cooperation. The players have said they do not want paying unless the non playing staff get paid first. Good on them!
It is also a way of getting out of their contract. The players have said they do not want paying unless the non playing staff get paid first. Good on them!
They're not as their behaviour over recent times demonstratesI mean, I know we’re supposed to hate Wednesday now, but have always thought they were the better Sheffield club (low bar, admittedly).
was a good player, would say "i hope he gets back to teh form he once had" but no not at them
Just to give you an insight into how lucky we are with DK after the disastrous S*SU years.
Here’s what’s happening at Sheffield Weds.
They’ve only got 16 first team players (including 9 u21’s).
Because of financial impropriety-
They have a transfer ban for the next 3 transfer windows and cannot resign (after contract lapses -Barry Bannon for eg-ironically he’s been offered a contract which he can’t sign but has been training at the club) or sign anyone.
They missed last months wages and are late for this months.
Because of this 9 players have written to club the club asking for the immediate cancellation of their contracts & unless they get paid within 14 days they become out of contract players (free transfers).
Also entire 1st team coaching staff have left because of unpaid wages and Danny Rohl has not come back to the club since the end of last season.
Danny Rohl has a 5M release clause in his contract which is stopping prospective clubs going for him (but obvs he can go if they don’t pay his wages for a second month).
Players (those that are left)reported back to training last Thursday to find the training pitches not suitable to play on and they spent most of the day in the Gym-players were given individual plans and asked to train at home by academy coach.
On Monday Training pitches still not ready and players rented out a local athletics track to train on.
Sheff Weds find themselves literally in the same situation that Bolton were in a few years ok probably having to play with teenagers and getting hammered every week.
Now is the time to put bets on their relegation!
Always someone worse off than yourself!

Not familiar with his background... What happened to him? Injury? General loss of form?was a good player, would say "i hope he gets back to teh form he once had" but no not at them
don't know, he just was highly rated and now wolves are loaning him back to the championshipNot familiar with his background... What happened to him? Injury? General loss of form?
Rather sign Tommy Orpington
Remember when you want an owner to spend, spend, spend chasing a dream, the money can run out and the accumulated debt become unserviceable.
When he first took over in 2016/2017 the owner spent loads big - they lost in successive play-offsIs that what happened? I can’t remember Wednesday spending loads

Why do all Blues players have extremely smackable faces? Looks a bit like that rat Stansfield.
And the day keeps getting better for Wednesday fans.
Automatic points deduction I believe if this turns it to be true. Blades were deducted 2 points for a late payment.
