Looking at last season after 10 and 20 games…

Sunderland were top after 10 and 4th after 20, but Burnley, Leeds, and Sheff Utd, the top three after 20 and for the rest of the season were 2nd 3rd 4th after 10.

We’re 12 games in and the pre season favourites are miles behind. Even if Ipswich win their game in hand they’re 9 points behind. The team 9 points behind Sunderland after 10 games was 16th.

Long way to go but we’re starting to stack up such a lead that even with a wobble we should still be well ahead of the clubs you’d expect to come out on top over the season. Middlesboro, Millwall, Bristol, Stoke these teams will have the same issues as us of fatigue and lack of silly money in Jan.

Well it's now at the point where we can lose next week and are guaranteed top spot. Boro away at Watford next which will be very tough indeed on this week's evidence.

Who knows, we may yet go there unbeaten still. Three very different tests to come next though.

We won't lose either home game imo, Blunts or Baggies. So the away games, Wrexham away could be tricky, I don't mind a point, I can't see us losing though... I guess Robins and Stoke is the trickiest really, they are a very low percentage team, tend to play for a 1-0. Don't think that's enough against us personally.

Between now and Christmas gonna heavily dictate our season me thinks. A lot of tough games especially with form teams. Time to show what we are made of.

Not sure, if Sheff Utd had all of chavvy, ratty and fatty available I'd be concerned. As it is, just chavvy and ratty available.

Does anyone know the extent of Sheafs injury? Not in their squad today. What's the likelihood of him missing Friday?

Even if he had played today he would still only be about 50/50 to play Friday the sick note
