No Sheaf and no Kitching. Season is unraveling and likely top 6 is very tough. Everyone else won and has games in hand and had a better Jan window. Onto next season after adding more depth over the summer.

We've got 4 league matches coming up where we can pick up points again.
Millwall, Plymouth, Stoke and Preston in the next 4, 10 points would be good please. Feel we need at least 7 to keep us in the chasing pack.

Millwall and Stoke yes
Plymouth and PNE, not sure. Whittaker is scoring for fun at the moment

Leicester, Soton and Leeds will get promoted. Who are we kidding? Ipswich, WBA, Hull, Sunderland, Norwich and half a dozen other teams will just try make up the numbers for the remaining playoff places. We have to use the remaining games as practice for next season and to figure which players to keep, which ones to sell/release and which positions need reinforcements.

We've lost a 50/50 game and the doom and gloom merchants are out! Bookies have drifted our too 6 odds slightly, but still favourites for 6th.

And if fkin Norwich, Preston, Swansea and West Brom weren't in the league, we'd be a lot higher, that's for sure!!

This is probably the toughest league in terms of team make up the Championship has seen for a very long time. Imagine the teams that went up last season were Burnley, SU and Luton. This year it will more than likely be the 3 that came down in Scum, Su and Leeds.

If we make the playoffs then great but a really tough league this year.

We have a chance of play offs of course, but for the likely 2 places up for grabs so do West Brom, Norwich, Hull, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. While Watford and Preston are close enough points wise I don't think either have enough to make it. For the rest of us it will probably come down to the fine margins of luck with injuries/ ref decisions etc. 6 of us effectively fighting for 2 places means we are possibles rather than probables. Having said all that, whichever of Leeds or Southampton who don't go up with Leicester, would rightfully be considered stronger than usual favourites to win the play offs.

We have experience in playoffs and wouldn't bet against us if we got in the top 6

Last season we were said to have no chance of getting a result against Middlesbrough to get into the playoffs. Then supposedly we had hardly any chance of getting past Middlesbrough and Luton had hardly any chance of getting through either.

This season we're not supposed to have much of a chance again. Why do some people never learn.

I think most of us understand we have a chance, but that's what it is at the moment .... a chance. There are only 2 places up for grabs as Ipswich could still have relegation form for the rest of the season and still make the play offs! We are therefore one of probably 7 clubs that could make one of those 2 remaining places. I believe we can do it, and will enjoy the ride hoping it works out, while still recognising that in reality we have a less than 50% chance of doing so.
