Good Morning All

I have arranged the meeting to take place:

Location: G-Casino (Ricoh Arena)
Date: 28th February 2015 (Before the CCFC vs MK DONS
Time: 12pm to 2pm

So far I have had the following replies about attending (you know who you are) but need these confirmed because the meeting room only has room for 15 people.

Sky Blue Trust x 3 - CONFIRMED
GMK x 2
Sky Blues Talk x 3
Twitter x 1
KCIC x 1
Stadium Committee x 2
Sent Back to Coventry x 3
Cov Support News x 2

The first meeting will be a informal affair with a flexible agenda just to get us all talking and to see if these meetings can work.

I look forward to hearing & meeting you all.

Thanks

Wayne

After recent press announcements from the Trust I have deceided to cancel this meeting, it seems the mindset of the majority of the groups involved want Sisu out so the 'one voice' is now in place.

If however nothing comes from these groups 'one voice' I will revisit this in the spring.

Thanks for all the support and lets hope we the fans can come together as one and make a change that we all want.

There has always been the Trust though, so don't see why it should change anything?

You should carry on mate, you might find there is more support for a new approach than you think...

I wouldn't give it up to be honest. The Trust have probably destroyed all ties with the club now.. so someone needs to interact with them at a basic level.

Perhaps a more considered approach will get a better response.

Thanks for all the feedback, if things dont improve over the next 4 to 6 weeks I will approach eveyone again and try to start again. I just feel with all the anti-sisu groups a clear vision outside of that goal cannot be discussed. I am not saying its not the right approach but I will wait and see.

What do you mean a clear vision outside of "get rid of sisu" cannot be discussed?

Are you looking for a group to commence that is pro sisu?

Isn't every fan anti sisu and really a group should be looking at ideas / suggestions and implementations on how this can be achieved?

Yeah...you'd think wouldn't you.....

Never mind eh. so only 3 of the 17 that were set to attend are from the trust......and their poll (answered by approx. 18% of their own group) has effectively killed the meeting before it started?

Good work fellas.

No I am not and if you look at my previous posts I make that quite clear.

What my point was if the majority of people come to a meeting with the Anti-Sisu attitude (which I completly understand) then trying to get other views/opinions heard is going to be difficult. What I wanted to do is get all the conflicticting groups together to get a concesus on a way forward but now the Trust has agreed ot become part of SIsu out then the majority of the groups now have the same vision which renders the meeting i had planned pointless. I would prefer if these groups get together and see what becomes of that campaign.

If not doing this could you set up a Lordsummerisle IN Mila Kunis protest group?

Be a shame to let your skills go to waste.

If everyone wants Sisu out then surely the discussion needs to be how we do it.
We don't want them to just walk away, we want them to put the club up for sale for it's true worth.
However, I suspect at the moment they will just ignore us as they still believe there is a return from the JR nonsense to compensate for their losses.
We will just have to wait for this to happen before we can progress.
All we can do at the moment is moan at each other and Wasps.

So that's why I will let the Trust, Sisu Out, Preservation Sky Blues etc have a meeting to discuss the way forward and let them have that discussion. And see what becomes of it.

I agree but from what I have been told today, Joy has said on multiple occasions to various people (i'm not one of these people by the way) that she would not take a penny less than £90 Million for CCFC. Who in there right mind would agree with that.

£90M is probably what they have put in plus the value of the club and assets.
However when selling you cannot expect the buyer to cover your losses.

I agree totally but that was the figure I was quoted earlier today and i just couldn't believe it. I was saying that if someone offered £10 Million to buy the club without debt and when we got promoted to the championship we would pay another £3 Million and when we got to the premiership we would pay another £7 Million, so £20 Million in total as an example and thats when I was told that Joy had said the £90 million thing.

Whole thing been a fucking wind up hasn't it?

The £90 Million thing, I was repeating what I was told. I had the same reaction and asked where this person had heard it because I hadn't and they said Joy had mentioned in various places especially the Diamond Club Lunch.

Was that said prior to the sale of ACL to Wasps?

£90 million:claping hands: I think it is time to order the straight jacket for the lady the club is not worth 90p. Investments can go down as well as up.

Love to know where the £90 million was invested ....................legal fees?

Certainly not the football club

If that is anywhere near the truth of the value of their "investment", then it's an even bigger disgrace that we are where we are.

90 million ! you have to laugh don't you, so with 7 years+ of add ons such as gate receipts, transfer money, TV money, advertising etc we must be up to 130/140 million.Has cost Port Vale as an example less than 80k to come from down and outs to promotion contenders and then there's Burnley hob knobbing in the Premiership for less than a tenth of that money

Are you advocating liquidation of the club then?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think anyone on here would advocate liquidation. The reality is that the apparent strategy being followed by the current owner is leading the club to this being the inevitable conclusion. Unless there is a significant change, that is our destiny. That is why I feel that many true Sky Blues have turned away. The thought of the inevitability is just too painful.

Port Vale currently being bankrolled by the owner. The ground was owned by the Club but is now believed to have been moved to a seperate company. They have gone bust twice in the past 10 years or so and saved from closure by the Council making agreements over a loan it made

The following is worth a read then compare and contrast!

Have I remembered rightly that the Owner at Port Vale is a Cov lad? Isn't the story that he didn't realise we were plotless and didn't think to buy us?

That'll be the owner who's split ground from club recently...

http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/Port...cts-Football/story-22911225-detail/story.html

There will be now be three companies involved in Port Vale: Alchemy Land which owns the stadium, Port Vale Football Club which owns the football business and a new company, Port Vale Retail which trades independently but exclusively for the club shop.

A winding up order had been issued by HM Revenue and Customs in May against the old company, PVFC Ltd

Spot of standard business practice there, eh.
