Think he moved on a free transfer though when he was out of contract. Might be wrong.

Not really very positive is it? £4m + transfer profit mostly covering losses, not sustainable at all.

Operating losses increasing - the turnover I assume includes player sales - it’s grim reading

Think I might have done it by accident, was just trying to figure out how to undo it.

Would you rather have Wasps' accounts or ours?

Things will come to a head soon enough. We're well placed to take advantage of their situation falling apart.

Really low, I'm a partner in a company of 29 people and we could spend that in a month easily.

That's what happens when you get promoted though. Costs are going to go up.

It's not all great, would be much better if we had control of our revenue streams, but with the situation we're in it's not bad either.

They are pretty similar - other than the fact we have no physical assets

You’d have to question whether it’d be worthwhile for us to spend a significant amount on that though. Our fanbase is what it is and our reach only probably goes to about Warwickshire

Or a £35m repayment due with refinancing looking increasingly difficult and an owner burning through the majority of his personal fortune.

Would be interesting to compare to other "similar" clubs at our level. Portsmouth, Peterborough, Doncaster, etc. Imagine Sunderland's would make for some interesting reading.

Wages have only gone up by 10% haven’t they? Profit on players sales have gone up by 4 fold. What has promotion got to do with anything

Sunderlands is unique but they have a very high asset value on the stadiums worth

It’s not dissimilar. The declared debt we still have owing is £20 million which in reality is secured against nothing

anyone who thinks we are ever having a new stadium is deluded with these figures and next years will be alarming

there is opportunity that we do not use

Student populations - 55000 people go to the 2 universities in the city - if we could get 5% of those interested even offer them a £100 season ticket (or birmingham students if still at St Andrews) or match tickets for £7
Family day out ticket (add in travel/programme/pop and crisps for the kids)
Find out which 2018/19 season ticket holder has not yet been to St andrews and give them a free ticket
etc

none of these cost a great deal of marketing in the digital age

probably not
£4m debt will increase to £6m due to St andrews
This will reduce to around £2m due to MCCallum and cup income

at that stage you then have a bigger asset in the team and club being in the championship

I don’t see where you get that calculation from. Players sales in this next year I’d expect to be a lot less than that in these accounts as the fee for McCallum up front is about it along with the Chaplin sale partly offset by Godden purchase

Our March day turnover will be massively down. Doubt we made a significant amount from the cup

Cost of renting St Andrews vs these accounts costs fit the Ricoh I’d guess at an extra £1 million?

What if Maddison wasnt sold Norwich(out of our control). This would have been a 3 million loss? Or a fire sale of other sellable assets?

Fuck me.

Top of the table. Pulling clear. Best time to be a City supporter for many years. I have a great idea. Let's think of a thread that can make people angry and want to have an argument.

Oh well. All a part of being a City supporter.

I have a question:

Has there been any transfer of money of debt out of whatever company these accounts are for, to another in the chain of companies. For example the covering of debt repayment.

And if so, how much?

it was after promotion. Reason given as increased costs of promotion as it would be if we went to the championship.

4.6m is wages and salaries but playing budget probably a million or so less.
