Agree with this.

Massive game tonight, a point would be good progress as our away form is dismal and would be something to build on.

Saying that im surprised where Cardiff are in the league. A point would be a good point away from and keeps those above in touching distance.

Will have to play well 1-1 .

Edit this. We are at home, hopefull of a win.

Thanks for that bright spark. As i live in wales and pubs are open i was hoping to find a pub showing it to try and give it that matchday feel. But yes worst case i will pay for it like i do every other game

Also beat them at Ninian Park in about 2007 thanks to a Jay Tabb goal. Mad traffic on the way meant most fans (including me) got to the game at half time and missed the goal. Official coaches didn’t arrive until 15 minutes from the end. Still got to see Darren Purse miss a last minute penalty though.

remember it well. Didn’t make the game, stuck for hours just inside wales (still to this day don’t know what the issue was). Eventually turned round and got signal on CWR just as we conceded the penalty.

We got there for the last ten minutes. Steward let us in for free bless him. No room in the stand so we stood on the edge near to their fans. They were frothing at mouth when they missed the pen and looked like they were gonna jump the fence. Definite skid marks for a moment.

Robins will I feel be more attacking this game...revert to the wing backs playing higher up the pitch. Not a ‘must’ win game but one where a win is needed to re launch the season.

Keep tight to their wingers, ensure someone is marking Wilson at all times and close him down as soon as possible whenever he's on the ball, try and freeze Moore out of the game by limiting the number of balls into the box, don't give away any needless free kicks or corners.

Do all that and we'll be fine.

And score ourselves

Judging by Robins' comments I think Godden will be out for 4-6 weeks. I had a similar foot injury a few years ago (I got mine jumping down the step of the Wheatsheaf after a boxing day game) and could hardly walk. Just got to let it heel if you can.

Kelly started on Friday, why would O'Hare make way for him?

Because imo we need two up top and that's better served by Biamou or Shipley in behind Walker or Walker in behind Biamou. O'Hare has been too lightweight and ineffective of late and may be better as an impact sub. Just a thought.

Jumping ahead to Norwich-Pukki may be out with a hamstring issue. Get in.

Plantar Fasciaitis, inflammation of the fascia which is a large muscular band of tissue that wraps around the foot under the instep, and keeps all the ligaments and tendons in place. it can be inflamed but it sounds as if Godden has torn his. usually treated with steroid injections and/or ultrasound therapy, but rest and then physio sort it out, can be anything from 2-8 weeks.

I knew those 25 years as a chiropodist would pay-off eventually.

Think we need a thread for injuries picked up at (or in this case just after) games.

We need to attack Cardiff today and get a win. We need to take advantage of the results from last night.

Walker needs a strike partner and I would bring Max in for Shipley.

Looked like a total freak injury, just stayed on the ground when he landed. Is it the sort of thing that reoccurs?

Potentially O'Hare and then give him 30 minutes or so against tired defenders.
Tough one though as he usually is that link between midfield and the strikers, but I'd play Hamer further up the field and go two up front

Norwich match ratings by their local rag 'The Pink 'Un' referred to a post match hamstring issue.
