Bizarrely over in Italy most bars seem to have something like Special Brew or Tennents Super Strength on tap.

Is it actually tennents super or just the same strength?

Imagine them all in their kappa jackets, pasta and a pint of special brew

Isn't it usually the case that most "premium" foreign beers you see in pubs are generally seen as piss in the country they're from?

I've seen Carling and Tennants on tap in a few European cities and it was branded as premium. Strongbow is also packaged in smaller glass bottles in some places and sold at a much higher cost than at home.

The one thing I hate about "imported beers" sold in the UK is that they're more often than not brewed in the UK and the recipe is fucked about with to make it cheaper and the alcohol content is also lowered so the taste is completely ruined.

Agree, the likes of Belgian brewed Stella, Spanish brewed San Miguel etc. are like night and day compared to their UK brewed shite counterparts.

Been drinking good old BrewXI for a while now and it still knocks the socks off most lagers!

I do enjoy a Desperado in this warm weather, probably had a few too many (2for£5) in Durham weatherspoons before Sunderland game, some lovely ales in there too.

Yeah, I've heard Stella is a lovely pint if you get it in Belgium where they have the proper stuff.

I hate how the massive breweries over here buy the licence to brew these great beers and then ruin them.

I usually stick to Budvar as that's imported and is a great tasting beer.

Water is a life saver. The times I'm too steaming to remember to drink it before bed I wake up with a pounding headache the next day.

I think it's the same thing because Budvar is Czech and has the word Budweiser on the label. It sued the American Budweiser for stealing the name and now they have to label it 'Bud' in most of Europe.

I was over in Brussels on a business trip for a couple of days during the week and can confirm that the Stella was lovely. It was the proper 5.2% stuff was nothing like how I remember it in the UK. The beer in the UK is generally overpriced and tastes chemically or some essence of stoat piss real ale.

Hahaha it’s all the super strength stuff, half of the beers in the supermarkets are imported super strength. I will try and take a picture of them next week

Nastro Azzurro over here is seen as a no thrills beer that’s nothing special, you can regularly get a 66cl bottle for less than a €1, it’s always made me laugh that it’s seen as a ‘posh’ beer in the UK and massively overpriced.

My go to over is here Ichnusa, a lager from Sardinia, that’s far superior to Nastro Azzurro.

There supposed to be knocking our block down. That was 18 months ago, but still here. Told we will all get compo and good moves etc. Was cov council but now Whitefriars absolutely useless. In this block weve had a murder, an attempted murder, a mad arsonist, and loads of shit from youths. Other than that !

Depends where you are. I was in Krakow last summer and I honestly don't think I saw an unpleasant looking woman. They all seemed in shape and had a class about them.

I suppose the English diet of McDonalds, WKD and Geordie Shore have has taken it's toll.

Have to say I’ve been disappointed with the quality of women in Poland the few times I’ve been.

I expected it to be dripping in good looking women and it really isn’t. Bit of a fallacy if you ask me.

Well I've only been to Krakow but it was teeming with beauties. Can't speak for the rest of Poland.

In my experience, Polish women are either stunning or bang average, they don't have many ugly women at all tbf....... The half breeds (English/Polish) tend to be good looking though.

Polish girls can be incredible in my experience. Visited twice. I'm actually going to Gdansk in June so will provide a further update then.

I think the gene pool is generally just a lot stronger in mainland Europe - certainly in an Easterly direction!

Completely agree with this, I was dating a Romanian girl for a while, very good looking, really nice person too. A solid 7/10. Then I went on a double date with her sister and her partner, I was blown away by her sister, absolutely stunning 9/10. Actually I might message the ex now..... Wish me luck boys.
