Can't believe this decision to be honest. At a guess I'd say it goes to court now. Sisu (I think IANAL) could appeal because it's their case as it were. I await correction though.
How do you know they will lose? All that has been said is that SISU have a valid argument - not that they are right. It got to this stage by a rent strike by SISU. PUSB YES YES YES imho!CCC legal costs will be horrendous, never mind it will only be the Council Tax Payers footing the bill! How did it ever get to this stage? PUSB!

I doubt it, the council can defend itself in Court. The council feels it has a strong case so it won't be an issue to them.
The council doesn't need CCFC at the Ricoh and has a successful tenant so the distraction of the court case doesn't really exist for them.
SISU has stated their intention to build a new stadium in the absence of buying the freehold to the Arena, again it must mean that the court case isn't a distraction either.
We'll see I suppose....
Treating community assets as private corporations is how it got here.
One thing needs to be learned here: football clubs are not normal businesses and football grounds are not normal real estate. Legislate accordingly.
Why is it happening then?
For the council they have no choice....
Agree with you on this. Unfortunately, as far as the law goes, I believe this is not the case.

How did we get here? Well because SISU brought the case and then appealed the original decision - despite Joy saying we've moved on in her interview with Les Reid, Tim saying we've moved on, left the Ricoh etc. Oh and it will surely only be the Council footing the bill if they lose - which is by no means certain.
