They both got to play in the Premier League and got a massive pay rise, I don't think they give a.![]()
Only Hamer played in the Premiership, O'Hare joined them in their first season back in the Championship.

I thought he was a show pony and flattered to deceive but I've never booed any Cov player, past or present. You booed Palmer every game let's be honest.
Yeah he came for free and left for free? He chose us after his villa contract expired because he loved his time at the club and would have definitely been able to make more money elsewhere.Came on a free went for the moneyfuck him. After his injury and what the club did standing by him , ZERO respect. He could have been a legend, now a leg-end . Money grabbing tramp
And lets be honest I would be pissed if I was O'Hare and was dropped for Palmer in my final seasonDon't get this at all, O'Hare was brilliant for us. He joined on a free and left on a free.
O'Hare gets vitriol, Palmer who actually forced a move gets lauded...out fans are strange
Stay Classy lads.
Total bollocks. I know him and he wanted to stay.He had no interest in signing a contract. We upgraded on him. I agree we have just moved on and are better off for it.
He might well have done but not for the wages we wanted to pay. I hold no grudge against him and thought he was a great player for us at the time.Total bollocks. I know him and he wanted to stay.

Only exception to this was when Lee Hughes returned to what was then the RicohI thought he was a show pony and flattered to deceive but I've never booed any Cov player, past or present.
No real need for the personal dig tbh.
Weirdly my favourite COH game was when he helped tear the Blunts to pieces at home, 4-1 win.
I think we were very set on Rudoni anyway, but yes point taken.mine was when he did the same to Leicester, he made a bad choice for money that’s all it boils down to
on the flip side though, if he’d stayed would we have signed Rudoni too? who knows… and I know which I’d rather have
Getting promoted with us would’ve ‘set himself up for life…’Set himself up financial for life, short career and had a serious injury which affected him massively.
Weird to even bring him into the conversation.
As much of a passion it is for us it’s a job for others, nice to know that so many people would turn down a huge pay rise at work though and lovely signing on fee because they are loyal to their current employer….

He will make a pretty good living out of this division for as long as he wants it, but he probably won't have a shot at top flight football now.
If we don't stay up I'd have him back in a shot for a championship campaign but agree, not sure he'd do it top flight.
Same, think Rudoni might be more suited to the Premier League, but I'd have O'Hare back in a heartbeat for the Championship. Including over Hamer
The Cov Pod have links to a few players.
John Dawkins - no matter what people say - is in contact with a number of ex players.
Callum O'Hare is one who he says frequently messages to express his happiness at home City have done this season, and JD says there is a story behind his departure that when it does come out, will make people see him in a different light.
And he’s still a good player and I thought he was their best player when we beat the blunts at their place.Total bollocks. I know him and he wanted to stay.
Saddles put something on here at the time about his offer being withdrawn, no idea if true.
this was stated fact wasn’t it - we gave him an ultimatum, sign by ‘x’, he didn’t and so we pulled the offer…
