Laughable. Less than 6 months ago, he was awarded Championship player of the season.

😂

Not one Premier League Club wanted him when he was available as part of a release clause at £20m?

So maybe they didn't think he was worth £20m. Hardly means they didn't want him and it certainly doesn't mean he isn't good enough. Thats a crazy opinion.

I feel certain when I say that the majority of fans would see him back here in a heartbeat.

I don't - he is on a far higher wage and isn't worth anything like we sold him for

The team is as fit as I can remember seeing them.
I just can't see the manager that's overseen that going after a player who doesn't take his fitness and conditioning seriously.

Lampard would not even look at him as an option

I find it hard to believe that we wouldn't be improved by the best player at the level, but equally find it difficult to think where he'd get in. Possibly for Torp, although his current numbers are insane. Hamer normally deeper lying, with a good passing range, but different to Grimes. we'd almost have to rip up the style and how we play to accommodate him, yet I still think he has merits. Tough one. Not going to happen though so I won't lose too much energy on it.

You've got a laughing emoji for that but I think youre right and with the trajectory Sheff U are on I doubt he'll be there much longer so let's see if Lampard goes sniffing around, I'd be amazed if he does

I know its hard to accept but this version of Hamer does not come into this team for Torp, absolutely no chance. For what its worth if you offered me Hamer and he was mainly used as a 30 minute super sub i would actually snap your hand off but i think we've moved past him at this point.

It's just the optics of it.

Lampard - I want you all to train hard and eat the right foods, you're athletes and need to conduct yourself as such

The squad- why is gus eating a kebab in the sauna boss?

He'll get to the summer at an age and with 1 year left on his contract where he'll be available at a price one of the top Dutch teams would probably take him. I think that is where he'll end up.

Im not being sentimental in the slightest. The day he left us in the manner he did, he died to me! Im looking at it with zero sentiment AT ALL!
We've not struggled without Rudi no, but even before his injury, Rudi has looked half the player this season to what finished last. QPR game aside, Rudi has been very quiet this season. And a player of COH quality to come on at 60 mins and replace him, or cover whilst he's injured, or challenge him at Ryton for his shirt, isnt a bad thing! Look just how much Kitch and Thomas have improved since the threat of losing their shirt has been introduced?

As it stands, we've got 2 class players on the bench in KKH and Woolf. Then 4 or 5 capable championship players in the likes of Allen, Eccles, Lati, Wilson, etc. When what we really need is players that could easily be starting for other teams, willing to fight for their place for us! CoH is exactly that!

It's a bit early to judge Rudis performances this season so far tbh

Liked both players when they were here, but dead to us now and free to enjoy their relegation scrap. Not sure Hamer is fit enough for our squad - if he was and we could pick him up for modest fee would be worth a punt even if we go up. Won't happen and agree that Franky Lamps probably wouldn't want him though.

He’s not even worth a second thought when we play them in a few weeks

He’s not missed, he doesn’t even touch our starting 11 as things stand, he made his decision to go to Sheff U and he can live by it - fuck him

Our fitness in the last 20 minutes of the game is what's helping us win games that we would have drawn or lost last season.

I mean, we do! Take your emotions out of it and look at it logically. We 100% could use someone like COH in our squad! Granted, he'd only be benched behind Rudi. But look at now with Rudi with a long injury. He'd be a great replacement. Also great for a different option off the bench if Torp or Rudi arent quite as effective as they can be. Id have him back in a heartbeat!

Taking out the bullshit article. No players says what was reported there unless they have been sidelined by their current club.
Sheff would want a price too high for us if we ever went in for him. Also remember he left because he had a substantial wage increase at Sheff and we were not prepared to break our wage structure.
Hope we beat them. Can hear the strains of it could have been you now.

Typical toddler reply to a report from a reputable source.

Leeds rumours have existed for two seasons. It’s clearly his agent as “refusing to sell under any circumstances” is clearly nonsense.

What’s the actual source?

BBC and Football Insider (considered about 60% legit).
Knowing your history you will argue black is white with your inability to see another side of any observation or argument, so best leave it at that before you clog up the thread with endless "Grendel is always right" bollocks. Bye

Re O'Hare
According to Sheffield United fans,
He's been their best player this season (after a few early games where he struggled)

Also, their fans are saying that yes, Hamer is their best player, but they have played with a bit more freedom in the last couple of games as everything hasn't been forced though him.
