I wouldn't blame him. The fans bizarrely boo him despite him being a player who gave his all here, and made his free choice to move when his contract expired. I'd celebrate as well in the circumstances.
There were people screaming at him because he was given a freekick after Thomas smashed him (getting none of the ball). I get that we are meant to be partisan as football fans but the levels are incredible at times.

We could do with him right now, he would be starting in Rudoni's place every week. Was decent last night.

Probably didn't deserve the vitriol, the circumstances behind his exit were very complex.
TBH I find him annoying. Maybe that’s the sign of a good player. His confident use of the ball had me thinking he runs like a Diddy Man escaping from Jimmy Saville

IMO the booing didn't give us any advantage at all. It was a stupid distraction our team could have done without.

Really!?

It makes it a difficult place to play in.

What happened with your son TG?
In the season he left my son was mascot for the Preston game and O’Hare used a side door to get to the changing room instead of the entrance and refused to come out to meet the kids like every other player did, there were a lot of disappointed kids as the two they really wanted to meet were him and Haji (whose name they all sang when he came through the room).

Fans can accept a slightly sour ending but there were so many bad things about the end of his time with us.

1. Refused to sign a contract after we had given him an additional year when he did his first ACL

2. Fell out with Robins who played Palmer once the relationship broke down

3. Left on a free after we invested significantly into his career

4. used his mates to spread rumours

5. inventing an offer from a US club that was literally impossible

6. Signings for a team who are not popular in the fan base

7. Having his signing announcement be an iconic moment from our recent past souring that memory to fans

8. Not carrying himself well in interviews and not saying the most complimentary stuff.

9. celebrating goals with Hamer using the same celebration they had here

It all adds up for supporters.

He’s moved on now and so have we. I think he’s performing a role made for him which is the standout at one of the poorer teams in the league.

Songs for Sheaf and Palmer, some of our support shouldn't be allowed out unsupervised.
Absolutely mate. Pure weird shit. I don't even want us to sing anything for Robins at Stoke (certainly before full time) but if we're dishing out chants for that pair of melts then i'd actually be staggered if there wasn't one for Robins.

No chance. We wouldn't swap BTA for O'hare, so O'hare would be third choice AM now. He'd be on the bench and used like Jamie Allen is, and we saw the kind of passing Allen is capable of for the third goal, didn't see any quality like that from O'hare last night even though he was their m.o.m

If anyone deserves a chant it’s MR. Don’t even know if we’d still have a club without him.

One of the biggest legends in our history.

I agree, i wouldn't be meat riding him before full time in a big game though. But if we're going to glaze sicknote Sheaf and the deluded show pony Palmer then all bets are off.

So Hamer has scored against us for blades and didnt celebrate.
McCallum lastnight scored and held his hands up almost apologetically.
I get the feeling with how hard O'Hare genuinely tries to score against us when he plays, he's the sort of c**t that would celebrate! Thankfully to date we've not had to find out, but he comes across as that kind of person.

So because he tries to do what his job is and he is paid to do you think hes a c**t. At the end of the day he always gave his all for us and also gave us some memorable moments and individual brilliance.
i really dont get the hatred some give him and yet applaud Hamer who clearly couldnt wait to jump ship when we lost the playoff final not to mention scored and created goals against us.

personally I find the stuff shown towards OHare who was a big part of our rise embarrasing

One thing I do admire him for is coming back a better player after such a bad injury.

Many in the past just haven’t coped.

Palmer also clearly only gave a fuck about himself
Well looks like Palmer has been put in the bomb squad at Hull because of his attitude and billy big bollox behaviour.
can see Hull off loading him to a league one club in January and another who though the grass was greener ending up in obscurity.
He left us because he thought he was to good to be sat on the bench, he was bombed out at Bristol because of his attitude so looks like history has repeated itself
