I genuinely can't keep track of who some of the players are these days. We bring in new ones all the time, and when you see them play they have no particular attributes to distinguish them from each other. I.e. they're all fucking shit.

Too long to get started, then caught out on the counter. Another game gone, the gap doesn't get any smaller.

It's the same story, and it's so repetitive, it's boring. No point even looking at other teams results, it makes no difference to us because we can't do our side of the bargain.

He wouldn't get a chance because we don't make any.

It's not the personnel as much as the lack of any coherence, I can't tell what role players are playing. G Thomas isolated as a sort of wide left player and Vernam likewise on the right.

Two full backs who are welded to the edge of their own area when we get the ball.

Let's get this buffoon Slade out.

About the same rationale as Capello sending on Emile Heskey against Germany in 2010: the footballing equivalent of saying 'yeah I don't give a shit anymore'. He is staying for Wembley and the off chance of winning that. In fact, that's the only reason I can imagine some of the players are still here.

Just felt with Burge like with RCC there was no point developing Allsop for Bournemouth. We may as well develop our own. Allsop was poor. If you are not going to get an experienced goalie, develop your own kid.
Same with most other people's loaned kids.
If you do it, you better get miles better than your own kids, otherwise you just hinder their development.
Kent, Murphy, Armstrong were miles better than ours.
However mostly other people's kids like Allsop, Wright, DanA have been no better and so our own kids don't get a chance.
