I don’t know what the exact difference is between the average championship player and the average prem player but you’d imagine it’s at least 3-5x more? Maybe? If someone tripled my wages I don’t think I’d care who my manager was tbf, if a decent contract gets put in front of him it’d take a hell of a lot for him not to sign it, especially for a decent team like Newcastle, not exactly Sunderland. Would be very worrying if we lost him
