Asked why there’s been a delay, Robins said: “I have no idea. We will look into it and try to push things through, but whether we can do that on an automated system I don’t know. We just have to bide our time and hope that it comes through in order for us to involve him.

He picked up a thigh injury just as he came back training with us. Reckon he’s out for 2 or 3 more weeks.
The view of City fans is that we’re excited by him and very much looking forward to seeing him feature for us. As for our new gaffer, he said on Monday that Walsh has a big part to play for us this season and that talks of a new deal are taking place this week.
The only thing that Walsh might not be happy with is game time. We have too many options in midfield to be honest and I’m not sure how Walshy will feel if he’s not picked every week.
