Mark Robins has issued this Coventry City transfer message

I feel his language would have been a bit different here if Walker and especially Bright were definitely not going to happen.

Could the delay for Bright be that we want a permanent rather than loan and have used Chaplin money to increase our bid?

Sounds more like hope than expectation though

Not sure it confirms anything either way. Don't think it'll be before the weekend if anything happens though (whoever the players he is after are).

I read it as both are still possible then. That has to be good news, let's hope we can get something over the line asap, but maybe Baylis will have to go to fund things.

I'm pretty much 98% sure that bright will be walking out at St Andrews, But in a dark blue kit not a Sky Blue one.

BREAKING NEWS

AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone is on his way to the UK for the next stage of his move to Wolves, report Sky sources.

The 21-year old will have a medical tomorrow after the two clubs agreed a fee of £16m rising to £23m with various add-ons.

Personal terms have also been agreed.

Could this mean that bright is set to leave now they have another attacker in?

Think it’s more likely that they let the other lad go to Forest and Forest let Walker come to us

They're very different types of player so I'd be surprised if there's a direct link like that.

Haven't Blues already signed these two players, and loaned them out to Spanish lower league clubs?

Is this the same mate who told you he’d seen Bright at St Andrews and was signing for them over a week ago...

What I find a bit unusual about all this with Bright is that he just hasn't played for weeks I think and there doesn't really seem to have been any explanation as to why from Wolves.

Now confirmed.
Given the contrast between the two players with similar ages, I don't reckon they see him as a potential player in the prem. Maybe they'll let him go now?

Maybe he really did fail a medical somewhere? Would answer a few questions.

If he has picked up an injury I can understand wolves not wanting to shout about that too much, if they are indeed trying to offload him.

I know this won’t be very popular but is he even that good? Remember him being very frustrating and loads of people saying he was dog shit in the first few games. I think he was good, but are people actually getting so caught up in this hype they are thinking of him as much more than he actually is?

Out of boredom, I rewatched the Peterborough away game recently and noticed that he had quite a few moments where he tried to do too much and ended up giving the ball away. But he also had moments where he opened things up, and he definitely improved as the season went on.
