We were clinical when it mattered. They had lenty of the ball but had no real end product until we messed up at the back with a couple of bizarre goals tbf. We lost a bit of composure near the end and can't afford to do that. We do look a good side though but we need to keep possession more in midfield. Bayliss was not so good tonight even though he had a moment. They were physical and long hoofs kept us a little disjointed at times. We must learn to deal with that. We also missed glaring sitters too! JCH looks sluggish and at times unable to maintain control and make it stick. Chaplin excellent game again. Hiwula and Thomas both very good. Great win.

According to the bbc sport page, there was no disallowed goal, no second yellow card, and no sending off, Tossers.

Disagree it happened at Southend and Wycombe they just didn’t take the chances.

We were the better team against Wycombe , against Southend and again tonight , we too missed chances and also had a goal wrongly dissallowed , we are not unjustly winning matches

That’s football

Think you are expecting a lot from a very young team. You are right it’s a concern. But it’s something they can only learn in the moment. But again you are right it is very important to learn from this now. Need to manage games better

Just a follow on from yesterday-you didn’t say what level (referee wise) you are? And the name of the level 3 who you regularly work with in case I know him?

Where are you getting this from! I’m not saying we unjustly won. I’m just saying we need to manage games better like any good team does. I have said that this a young team that will learn as they go.

But look at what’s Portsmouth did to us scored then blocked us out. We need to learn to do that too. We aren’t going to score 4 every game.

It’s a great win at a bogey team. But im sure robins will say the same as me.

2 poor goals to concede but to score 4 away, and in reality JCH should have had 2 more headers. You could say decent saves but 1 of them has to go in.

Great result. Ended a bad run at their place, 4 wins on the bounce, put that shower to the sword.

Sloppy conceding 2 but I’ll take it. Momentum is key in this league and we are finding some. On the fringe of the playoffs now. Whopper of a game Saturday now.

Disagree last season we were scraping by hoping to pinch 1-0s and results only really picked up once we started to take the shackles off.

Thomas skews the ball and they score an unlikely goal but it's handball. Any notice Thomass was limping after that and he had just taken a heavy knock moments before?

Well it’s a fact. So I don’t know how else to respond to be honest!
History and statistics back the Point if you want to win TITLES. That you need to keep clean sheets.

What! Was probably my MOTM, don’t think he lost many headers all night. Should’ve had a couple more but his overall game was great.

You'd think at 4-1 we might finally have found a way of making it easy for ourselves for once. I guess some things never change! Nice to see us getting a bit of luck from an official for a change. It always seems to work against us, so nice to have it the other way round. Nice to see our attacking prowess come good. I've said before I didn't think we were too far off being a decent side for this level. It looks to be coming together nicely. Long way to go yet, so not getting my hopes up for anything special just yet (Christmas is coming, after all. And we know we like a good old festive slump in our season!) but a good three points, to follow up on the Southend game. Two games that in seasons past, we would, in all probability, got nothing out of.

Kind of silly to say but if chaplin would've scored that one-on-one against Sunderland we'd be on the same amount of points as them, in 3rd.

Why were we a little fortunate ?

This is a great win, a massive win, recent results made us hot favourites to win so potential banana skin, 2-0 up early doors, ship a goal in but up a couple of gears and put the game to bed, that’s what good teams do. There seems to be more focus on here about their disallowed goal, cheating twat tried to con referee and punched the ball in rightly getting himself sent off.

At times tonight it was like men vs boys. We were running rings around them.

Thomas was outstanding, Jonson bullied that two centre halves and Chaplin was nippy.

However, without trying to be negative, we let them come at us and conceded a few stupid goals!

Very impressed though tonight.

I thought Doyle was the ref, and the other bloke is basically his assistant, who carries the whistle and cards.

Great result. Sounded like we did get a few decisions go our way but we've had our fair share of awful decisions. Hopefully now the forwards self-confidence is growing and the shooting boots are on.

Let's hope we can make it five on Sat but it's supposed to be getting cold over the weekend and we tend not to be great in the cold.
