Simms with another goal as for the pass trying to find EMC I don't have a problem with it he hasn't got eyes in the back of his head, Rudi wouldn't have got into his peripheral vision, just watched the highlights on the ITV show, they find it hard to give credit I must say although the co- Comms did give the pen and ultimately gave Simms credit for the clean shot eventually ruling out that it was a deflection after giving either the goal or something earlier that he was questioning whether Simms was offside.
We're going to have to change their perceptions of us right or wrong, Two lovely strikes for both Goals, and then listening to that twat Davies opinion on the game afterwards.

Probably got a groin strain wanking himself off over saving his job

Which again we would have all taken before a ball was kicked.

I think the issue is more the brilliant effort to be top. It’s the best chance we’ve had since being relegated decades ago to get back to the Prem. Poor depth in squad is now hurting us and that’s whats frustrating people.

But not from where we were.A lot of bad decisions. Bamford. Rushing Rudi and Wright back. Simms was the championship player of the month and got dropped. Not using KH more, player of the season, at Preston last yr

We scored twice that should be enough. Same in the other 3-2 loss. We've slipped back into old habits and are vulnerable on the break. Our players will get us the goals, but we are not benefiting at the moment from these open games.

I wouldn't say they've bottled it.
Everyone was getting way too carried away including pundits, etc.
This is our wobble but it doesn't need to be any more than that, what we need now imo:
1. BTA back
2. Torp back
3. Play the kids at Stoke
4. Two good weeks of coaching and recovery before the next league game
5. Some new players incoming as the squad is starting to look fatigued and jaded
6. The fans to stay with the lads and see this thing through

FL has mentioned in almost every interview this season about the small squad and, probably given his experience, he could foresee the issues that we are now facing. Let's hope some quality reinforcements can be recruited in this transfer window to bolster resources.

This Cup weekend couldn't have come at a better time.

We are still in a fabulous place and STILL top of the league.

The only negative stance that I think would have any legs would be if we were stuck with this squad and no new players in.

If that happened, I do think we would plunge down the table. But does anyone actually believe that we are NOT bringing any players in?

The aim is the strengthen the squad with more quality players. Isn't that a really positive thing?

At least can we wait until the end of the transfer window before we start becoming all doom and gloom..

Bring new players in and we still continue losing, then you have a point.

But for now, we are still top of the league and look like we're just about to strengthen .

We are in a brilliant place. ❤️

Agreed, but hardly used the squad he has, KH and Wooff, as examples

Cant get away from the nagativity me .

People i see , on here , facebook , twitter .

In the stands its quiet and dull full of nerves .

Doing my head in

Yeah, the fans are going to have to put their big boy pants on and battle through the hardship of supporting a team at the top of the league fighting for promotion and get behind the lads. Half of them turned into mutes yesterday. Used to it at home but genuinely shocked me even considering the weather/awful defensive display

Yep-I get that. I think (without looking) that I said we would finish 4th, so anything above that was a bonus. Considering the start we have had, if we now finished 4th it would be disappointing.

Exactly this. Folks need to shut the f*ck up moaning and get behind them. Not sold on the idea that flapping it on here is totally disconnected from being quiet and quick to turn on players at games. People need to show some guts.

Bringing Rudoni and Wright straight back in has cost us.

Simms gets player of the month, dropped for Wright. He's even scraped goals in the last couple of games where Wright has just been hiding again like he did in the playoffs.

This is something that has been nagging at me. Lampard said, players have to work hard, train hard and wait for their opportunity then take it. I think that is fair I like to see a settled winning side.

But Frank does seem to have his preferred line up which he defaults to at the first opportunity even if the team got a good result last time out.

Over time that can result in a drop off in effort from your supporting squad players. A regular starter missing one match is different to some who has been out for several weeks, but then gets straight back in.
