We have a good lead.

Just need to refresh & replenish the squad.

If they want promotion... they'll do it.

Is experience needed? Albeit at a cost.

We are still first with a six points clear gap.

Feels shite atm but even in this game where we played badly I still feel we should have got at least a point if the ref wasn’t a EFL ref.

I think it’s very fine margins for a tired and out of form squad. Doug will back em imo and we’ll see where we go

This team is known to have a yellow streak running through it so today's result isn't surprising. I wouldnt back them to hold out in a tight race that goes to the wire.

That said, barring Ipswich I still dont see anyone being able to put a run together that will overtake us and sustain over the 20 games left. The other parachute sides are too far behind us to catch up.

Our run of form demonstrates the need for reinforcements. However, our form also increases the risk of spending if we continue to slip. Gamble either way.

I've said on here before that Thomas and Kitching are so average. They get bullied by forwards much smaller than them so never win clean headers. Kitching spends most of the time fouling when we are in good positions.

The defence were a disgrace today, it was embarrassing.

King must spend every penny we have available or its play-offs again!

Surely Doug knows fans would turn against him if he didn't spend from this position?

Those of us who were nervous, had every right to be nervous today.

Could see a defeat coming this afternoon.

Though, EMC was denied an obvious penalty. This can't keep happening. So many penalty decisions going against us.
We were all over them and gave 3 stupid goals away defence was shocking half asleep and Bobby Thomas is a Pratt if we could defend we win that easily they are not a good side

Yet MVE has been gifting goals for weeks.

Yes, we need defensive reinforcement. Kitching & Thomas are decent Championship defenders but not good enough for a promotion chasing team.

We shouldn’t be letting ourselves get into situation where decisions that are going against us make a difference!

We've not bottled yet but we are on our way to unless we can sort ourselves out.

Luckily we have two weeks to do it now and are through our worst run of fixtures of the season.

The next two weeks will be the decider, on the training ground and in transfers. All or nothing.
