Draw 1-1 @ 11/2
Reason For Coventry vs Blackburn Rovers Predictions
  • Both teams have found the net in four of their six Championship games so far this term.
  • Coventry has netted five goals and conceded six in their three home matches this season, while Blackburn have scored seven and shipped six in their three away outings.
  • Coventry are without a win in four (D2, L2), while the visitors are seeking their first victory in four (D1, L2).
Confidence Low in Both Sides
With Coventry winless in four (D2, L2) and Blackburn seeking their first victory in four (D1, L2), neither side exactly inspires any confidence from a betting perspective ahead of their clash at St Andrew's this weekend.
The hosts are clearly finding the step up to Championship football a hard challenge to overcome with just one win and ten goals conceded in six matches, but the visitors hardly look primed to take advantage based on their current form and the fact they’ve lost seven of their last nine Championship outings on the road.
Nevertheless, the lack of trust in the teams directs us to the goals markets and this fixture is a solid pick for any both teams to score coupons this weekend.
As mentioned, Coventry have already leaked ten goals this term and six of those have come at home, however, The Sky Blues have managed to bag five goals of their own in 270 minutes of football at St Andrew's.
Likewise, Blackburn has shipped half a dozen goals in their three away fixtures thus far but have also hit seven at the other end.
It means both teams to score is our confident selection for this Saturday’s encounter, while we’re also forecasting a 1-1 draw with neither side favoured to land the spoils.

They haven’t got one prediction right yet.

Haven't embarrassed myself this week so far (football wise at least) so I'm going for a Blackburn 2-0 win. Can see Armstrong getting the better of Rose and McFadz and with all our missing personnel, we won't have the strength in depth to beat a relatively inform team.

If we can weather the storm of the first half we may snatch a 1-0 otherwise Im predicting a 3-1 loss with Armstrong bagging a brace

No Dabo, Hamer and Shipley. Our squad seems a little stretched at the moment. Hope we don’t lose.

For reference the author of the tip this week was Christopher Kisby. It tends to be different people each week. It's just interesting to see how neutral people think the game will go. As with all tipsters, some will be better than others but you won't get rich following them.

On a side note, I want Forest to beat Derby tonight. Forest have Grabban and Lyle Taylor up front and Knockaert is on their bench! No way they will stay at the bottom for long. Derby, though, despite having a few promising youngsters are a lot weaker, and with budget problems, could be an outside bet to end up in trouble. Few long term injuries and red cards to both would be nice!!

Think I would still prefer a draw. The fewer points won by the teams around us the better and the bigger the pool of candidates for the drop. It is still to early to predict who those team will eventually be.

Having Kelly back will be good. Just need to get through tomorrow and then Hamer will be back. Then it’s seems Hilsner, Jobello and Bapaga are getting game time so will be getting closer to the squad. Hopefully Dabo not out too long and Dacosta makes his comeback in weeks.

Hoping for the return of Dabo otherwise McCallum should start. If Shipley is fit Id like to see a midfield of Kelly Sheaf Shipley O’Hare, but Shipley probably won’t be fit to start
