Really bright start with Sam in the thick of it - two crosses, a shot and a cracking header to set up Max with a half-chance the keeper saved. Good signs.

Looks left left-sided midfield although he's not been in it so far. But the fact he is supporting on the left - which has been a problem this season - could be playing a role in Sam being able to push forward.

There's no away commentary option as per the last few weeks (can't travel due to COVID), so click the cog on ifollow and choose home commentary to hear the Blackburn lot.

It was an awkward height and he was being challenged by the defender. If he waited for it to drop and they nicked it away which they would have, people would be on at him for not acting quick enough.
