Not sure whether hatrick that but he definetly scored. Remember the song at game, "save your bottles for me( repeat) - "Bye bye Wolves don't cry we will be thinking of you when you are in division 2".

Brotherhood of Man song rip off.

Fair play though Wolves, brilliant attitude of their fans after 2024 FA cup q/f game. Hope we don't play them next season for obvious reasons but no malice to them.

As for the non-bearded Alan Green, happy retirement but why oh why were you biased against Coventry City??
Cos he was a UTD fan.

Yeah just tried the Furnhurst and no availability. Which Premier Inn did you go for? We’ve gone for a nice little Inn on the outskirts (Darwin) which has a restaurant etc. The Mrs is coming so it had to be half decent! 😀
The Bridal suite?

That song was sung along away well into the 80s. Heard it a lot on away trips.

Told you once before , and I won't tell you no more.
Get down, Get down, Get down.
You're a bad team City, and we don't want you around

Remember Liverpool singing that Gilbert O'Sullivan cover to us in the West End. Many years before we were relegated.
One for the teenagers

It's the Blackburn South one, just off the motorway. Only about 10 min walk to the FernHurst so sure we'll be there for scoop or two anyway

Looking forward to this one, will be a tiring day as I’m travelling back from Devon with the kids in the morning and then planning to drive to Blackburn via a stop off at the house.

Planning on staying in Blacktop overnight after the game which might involve a tipple or two post game and hopefully post another 3 points!

He is still alive but got dropped in 2019.
The commentary for that game - Including pre build up became known as 'Blackburngate' amongst Sky Blue circles.
I've not heard it but apparently even before the game the insinuation wasn't whether Blackburn would win or not (they were going to do it at a canter) but how many goals they were going to stick past us on the way to reclaim top spot.

That end of season 1976 game memorable for me not so much for Alan Green’s hattrick (I can’t graphically recall any of his goals although I would doubt any occurred much outside of the 6 yard area) but my greatest recollection along with it being a balmy spring afternoon was the ‘serendipity’ of witnessing large breasted, tight T-shirt clad Wolverhampton women cavorting across Gosford Green, pre match.
Quite an eye opener for this nearly 10 year old.
Yeah apparently, diddy Alan Green bagged a hattrick or something.

As many as they request as long as you're a member and you have the points barrier which for Rugby and i imagine its the same for the others is 1200 points.

Dont think thats correct. The points you require for each game is different. The smaller the allocation, the higher the points you need to get tickets via the supporters clubs. I believe that figure is set by the club.

That indicates it's a set % of the full allocation.

Might just be coincidence then but every time i've used Rugby supports club for the coach its always been a 1200 pts cap to apply. I've only done it 3 times so quite possible i'm wrong.

What I don't get is if they've been given 83, presumably that's from 83 season ticket holders who are also members of the SC? Does this mean that ST holder might not be able to get the away ticket allocated to their own account.

I always assumed it was we have X amount of members and if they chose not to go we will allocate their tickets out to non qualifying members?

It's changed this season. You can only get tickets from Supporters Clubs if your own supporter number has the required points. If there are spare tickets they cannot be allocated to someone without the required points.
