There were about 100 away fans I knew pretty much all of them by name back then with my little group
Was a great night

Yes I remember a bit "of a stink" after Alan Green condescending comments at the time for that win.I can remember listening to that 5-2 away win in 92/93 on Radio 5 and Alan Green remarking “that it was a hilarious result…even the policeman is laughing at along with it” and various other put downs. I was so incensed the 16 year- old me wrote a letter to 90 Minutes magazine complaining about him.
Do I win the award for the most 1990s post today?

I think divorce might be a bit strongMight be just me, but I think there's a solution staring you in the face here
I was at that game, they were just starting to develop the ground and had taken the roof off the away end. We were just there to make up the numbers as far as everyone else was concerned, absolute gold to stuff them like we did.I can remember listening to that 5-2 away win in 92/93 on Radio 5 and Alan Green remarking “that it was a hilarious result…even the policeman is laughing at along with it” and various other put downs. Alan Green was* a colossal cock-end. Looked like a gargoyle and all the wit of a dropped-trifle. Brainless pub-bore convinced that everyone gave a fuck about his ill-informed views on anything, when all they wanted was to know what was going on in the football.I can remember listening to that 5-2 away win in 92/93 on Radio 5 and Alan Green remarking “that it was a hilarious result…even the policeman is laughing at along with it” and various other put downs.
