We cant get promoted there now anyway, with Ipswich Boro 2 days later. They needed to have played first and us know the result to have had any chance of Blackburn being promotion if that makes sense.

After Blackburn there is 9 points left to play for
Because Ipswich would have 15 points and Boro would have 12 points to play for playing after us, we would need to be 13/16 points clear of both of them to go up after the Blackburn game

Which aint gonna happen

Pompey H it is then for the party......
Only if they win all of their next 2-3 games

If we maintain the current gap to Ipswich/Boro and we win on Friday then an Ipswich win in that game could send us up- we’d go 10 ahead of Boro with only 3 to play.

Be so frustrating if we win promotion by virtue of a game elsewhere whilst we're not even playing. Anyone know what has to happen for that to be the case?

Will depend on the last set of Sky fixtures, but ATM Ipswich play Southampton the midweek before our final game and it’s possible they lose that and we win the title/go up for example.

Same the week before we play Tuesday they play Wednesday so again we could beat Pompey but not be confirmed until they lose/fail to win the day after.

Totally agree there, we want it to happen while we're in the stadium celebrating. Sky are going to change that many fixtures it's hard to say.

I don’t care how where or when we do it, looks like it’ll be Portsmouth or Wrexham at home perfect
Me neither. I would more than happy to just to hear we have been promoted as per league one promotion.

A long way to go and nothing is course certain. Many teams we are playing have something seriously to play for. Just need to keep performing, competing and trying like we did against Southampton. Take our chances next time!

Not counting chickens and one game at a time etc.

They need to move their arses and get the tickets on sale ASAP so people can look at trains/ hotels/ work commitments.
Tempted by this if it goes down the points ladder, train up on Friday, hotel stay over and train back on the Saturday.
Anyone know of the expected release date?

I would hazard a guess on details being released 28th/29th March and tickets start to be sold on Monday 30th March

Also its not guaranteed we get the 7300 , WBA have sold the bottom tier approx. 4000 tickets and have asked for the top tier but as yet no news of Blackburn will open the top tier

Going back to the '70's I don't think there was much segregation, at one time there were double barrier in the west end separating supporters but all the games were cash on turnstile for the terracing. I stood on the Kop for the Forest game, I guess it might been 50-50.
Definitely not 50-50 mate.

We won’t be selling 7,000 now
Id not give you decent odds on that! Friday night, Tuesday night, Sunday evening. If thats the weekend we could confirm it, we'd sell double that amount.

Just have to look at Notts County away in the Play-offs to see that. And that was a season we were averaging 1000 away and 9k at home (and that average will be skewed from that "28k Acrington Stanley game"). We took over their place that night. We'd easily have sold more had they been available and I know there we plenty that managed to infiltrate the home end too.

‘How we gonna get there I don’t know, how we gonna get there I don’t care’… Except if it’s at that ground or when we’re not playing….
Have some of us really become that entitled that we want a bespoke finale should we win promotion?
I can’t believe this!
I’d still settle for a ‘deflection off a defenders backside’ type of decision as long as it meant promotion.
“Not gonna celebrate cos it’s a Monday evening and so and so only drew 0-0” 🤣

Bit rubbish, that. At least it isn't a Sunday though. Will have to take a day's leave. Already booked parking at Asda for £3.79.
