Expecting three points today, then it’s suddenly an exciting end to the season again, something we didn’t think possible two games ago.

What a season and what a time to be a fan, it’s been a great few years. Not that you’d think that from the posting history of a few on here.

2-0, Gyokeres, COH.

Having a bench with more than one player you'd be happy to see bought on is a fun novelty.

No real surprises unchanged. Bench has more experience but just how fit will they be? Fully expect few subs (if any) and for them to be made very, very late.

Decent piece from online footy feed...the 9 clubs fighting for the playoffs....

COVENTRY

Position: 10th

Points: 59

Top scorer: Viktor Gyokeres (16)

Their victory at Fulham spoke volumes: Coventry aren't giving up without a fight.

Boss Mark Robins is doing a truly superb job at the Midlands outfit, after guiding them into the second tier and then ensuring they would remain there.

And instead of them glancing nervously over their shoulders, they have instead placed their sights upwards - with six points between them and the play-offs.

They face tricky tasks against Bournemouth and Huddersfield in their run-in but, even if they were to fall out of contention, this has been a super season for them.

Remaining fixtures:

April 15 - Birmingham (A)

April 18 - Bournemouth (H)

April 23 - West Brom (A)

April 30 - Huddersfield (H)

May 7 - Stoke (A)

StrongER, not strong.

I'm guessing it is what you define as strong. It is very subjective.

Would be interesting to find out how many players we have above a certain threshold (lets say average player in the Championship) compared to last year.

They’re handing a 21/22 championship debut to their keeper Jeacock, who has played prior to this only twice in the championship in 20/21, where he took in 4 in one match, albeit a clean sheet in the other. Was loaned out to Salford that same season but only managed 4 games, conceding 6 with no clean sheets. Other than that, he’s been playing for their u23s this season, 15 conceded in 7 with only 1 clean sheet in the PL2. Think we could squeeze a good few past the lad. They’re also starting a youngster at centre back, though he’s played 6 times this season in the championship.
