There's no trains from the Ricoh. The issue is getting thousands of Birmingham fans back to Cov station.

Buses would be a option, don't know who pays though, they used to do it at Highfield Rd in the day!

They should do a load of away buses back straight from the car parks at the arena, would save a load of hassle as well. Could pre sell them as an additional fee when buying tickets so they know demand.

Since the club said 18k were sold yesterday, there has been a decent increase of tickets sold.

14-21 is all but sold out.

Win Saturday and it will be the biggest of the season.

I am trying to book parking for this game but it’s saying that car parks A, B & C are fully booked. Is that right? I though A & B would be full not C as well?

Also, there doesn’t seem to be an option to park in the Tescos bit either? I’ve booked it previously this season for a Cov game.

Anyone got any info on the above?

Just park in Tesco mate, buy something for 50 quid then take it back whenever you’re going past a Tesco, do it all the time

I find it very hard to understand why West Midlands police can’t talk to national express and arrange a fleet of coaches to the station. It’s utterly bizarre

Who is going to pay for them? The police won't, the clubs won't. The bus company is likely reluctant to provide them as they could be vandalised. The only solution is to walk them 4 miles in an escort.

I guarantee there will be buses laid on for away fans to get to the station. They won't advertise the fact to discourage people, but it will happen. They won't want loads hanging around waiting for taxis.

We've played Blues at home on a Tuesday in front of 28,000 long before station was built. Buses were made available.

A Ford Escort was replaced by a Ford Focus and only had 5 seats. Would be a long night M8.

It is outside the football ground so the cost would come from the Policing budget. It is the Police responsibility to keep law & order and manage crowds, and as such they are provided public funds to do exactly that. Hiring a few coaches to help prevent public disorder while keeping ordinary citizens safe, would have minimal impact on that funding they receive from local and central government, even if ideally they would rather not spend that money.

But finding a dozen or more coaches or buses not easy if I was a coach proprietor don’t think I’d put some of my fleet at risk of being put off the road by some herberts.
