Turner always had the ability - he lacked, partly due to age, consistency and was injury prone. It would seem he has addressed both of those issues.
Whoever made the decision to ship him out and retain Wood & McPake made a mistake in my opinion. The team lacks leaders on the pitch and we would have been better with than without him.
Good luck to the lad - has worked out well for him, playing with better players, earning more money, played at Wembley, in with a shout of being in premiership, performance at wembley will have increased interest in him. Wasnt going to get anything like that here. Seems to be a hard working with a good attitude, better player than some give credit for, think he was always going to end up playing at a higher level than us - as I said good luck to him
No it's about sisu and their appalling treatment and contempt for fans including the sisu appointment of Andy thorn or are you behind sisu on this one?
He was generally the fans choice. "There'll be an uproar if he doesn't get the job" was a common attitude. You can't really blame SISU for that one. Sure it suited them that he was cheap, but we were very close to getting someone else in.
