First Warhammer, now watching Lego programs, how long until you start playing Minecraft? Not new but just started watching old seasons of Lego Masters. Vibes are immaculate, just a bunch of geeks geeking out of Lego builds.
Mate, I suspect we’re way past that.First Warhammer, now watching Lego programs, how long until you start playing Minecraft?![]()
Season 2 was great, definitely the best season imo. Season 4 seemed to be deliberately trying to play the hits from that season, which did actually work occasionally.Enjoyed the first series, forced myself to watch all of the second but didn't really enjoy it as much as the first. Made it halfway through episode 2 of the third series before I gave up.
I just thought it was really slow. It was very much like that bring her back.Half the people I know who saw weapons loved it the other half thought it was shit. I don’t watch horror so can’t comment.
Yeah, we all know you like the film equivalent of a two footed lunge early doors.I just thought it was really slow. It was very much like that bring her back.
I like to know why and how with films, thought weapons was just over hyped and took way too long to get to the point.
Yeah, liked this one. A decent premise with a few twists along the way.Marshmallow.
Part horror, part sc-fi.
Starts off like a predictable school Summer camp horror and then goes totally nuts in the second half, where the sc-fi elements kick in.
Got a real B movie feel to it, but despite a cast of relative unknowns the acting is really good.
The young boy who plays the lead is excellent, as are the other kids.
Watches very much like an A24 film.
S1 and S2 were excellent/great. Season 3 was crap, the plot of the series was just preparing for a review - complete yawn fest.I finished watching the final season of The Bear recently and I just don't understand the hype around it. I enjoyed the first season but the last couple of seasons just feel self-indulgent and just a bit boring.

Agree about the acting, I thought they were all excellent.
Next up: Dangerous Animals & Hallow Rd
I have only watched this once ! Scared the living daylights out of meStumbled across 10 Rillington Place (1971) yesterday. Got Dickie Attenborough and a very young John Hurt in it.
True story about some horrible bastard that many have likely already seen/heard of.
I thought it was very well done.
While I’m here talking about old serial killer films…if you haven’t seen it and don’t mind a foreign language film give ‘M’ a watch. Absolute belter.
Yet somehow got away with the hype promotionWeapons.
What a steaming pile of horse dung.
Without doubt the worst film I`ve seen this year, a stellar cast, with a script written by a load of GSCE drama students.
Disjointed, boring, not in any way frightening or suspenseful and some of the so called scary bits, were actually properly funny.
The old lady / witch, who looked like a some old piss head, you`d find in every Wetherspoons, the Benny Hill style chase with the kids at the end
No even Josh Brolin or Julia Garner could save this mess.
The only blessing was that I didn`t waste my money at the cinema going to see it.
Yep. Very goodBit late to the party but has anyone watched the handmaids tale without trawling through the previous posts? Currently on season 4.

Yeah…Fritz Laing I think. You talking about the Peter Lorre film?
Yeah, great stuff.Yeah…Fritz Laing I think.
That all sounds good. Was gutted as I missed out on a showing of The Thing - John Carpenter one - recently my way.Went to see Dark Knight Rises tonight and doing the next two the next two nights. Jaws and Indiana Jones soon too. Films I’ve never seen on the big screen and every time I’ve seen one it’s better than it was on TV. Highly recommend it if you’ve got a spare night. Most cinemas seem to have at least one old movie a week.

Before its general release, while it was still ‘banned’, I went to see The Exorcist at the NFT on the Southbank at Halloween.Must’ve been ‘96 or ‘97?I`ve always found the Halloween events to be the most fun, when they show a load of old classic horrors, like the Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm St etc as back to back films. Loads of fun and a great atmosphere inside.
Also notable as it was the first time I heard someone getting shouted at (rightly so) for talking during a film…”WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP”!
It did the trick.
I watched Hallow Rd. Thought it was only ok tbh. Kinda boring. Seemed like the sort of story I’ve seen/heard before. Thanks for jogging my memory about Hallow Road, as I missed it on the cinema with it only getting a limited release![]()
You would have to get me stoned too and drag me to that Terry, saw this on VHS in the 80, two scenes really spooked me (even though it's spfx/puppetry) so much so I've never watched it again on TV etc. daft as it sounds. Quite enjoyed the original though. That all sounds good. Was gutted as I missed out on a showing of The Thing - John Carpenter one - recently my way.
Awww Reg…I’m trying to think of the 2 scenes. I’m guessing one of them is when they’re testing the blood? You would have to get me stoned too and drag me to that Terry, saw this on VHS in the 80, two scenes really spooked me (even though it's spfx/puppetry) so much so I've never watched it again on TV etc. daft as it sounds.
