'The Gone' on BBC iPlayer. Irish/New Zealand crime drama about a missing couple.
Starts off a bit slowly, but gets good if you stick with it. Ended up binging through both series over the weekend.

Enjoyed the first series, forced myself to watch all of the second but didn't really enjoy it as much as the first. Made it halfway through episode 2 of the third series before I gave up.

Season 2 was great, definitely the best season imo. Season 4 seemed to be deliberately trying to play the hits from that season, which did actually work occasionally.

Season 3 was largely pointless, I think they were told halfway through filming that they wanted 20 more episodes instead of 10.

Half the people I know who saw weapons loved it the other half thought it was shit. I don’t watch horror so can’t comment.

I just thought it was really slow. It was very much like that bring her back.

I like to know why and how with films, thought weapons was just over hyped and took way too long to get to the point.
