Was talking to a few lads from work earlier and couldn't decide the best atmosphere I have experienced away from home. It boiled down to about 5/6 occasions. What about everyone else?
Wba 5-1 loss
If you were there then you'd know what I was saying
Not a league game so does it count?
QF 87 against Sheff weds. Drinking with their fans all afternoon before the game. Banter was great. Very good game. Shame there had to be a loser. Drinking with their fans afterwards. Did a pub crawl on the way out of Sheffield. Got a lock in on outskirts of Sheffield. Think it was about 4am when I got home. Had so many invites to return. Great set of fans.
Have been to their games a few times when not playing us. Know a few Sheff Weds fans. Always a good time.

Cheers deano, what memories these bring back , brilliant trip that one.
Bobby Gould picked up some great players for peanuts.
remember nuddy doing the funky chicken that day.......Wimbledon Away, (same season as the Spurs game to stay up) when they were playing at Palaces ground. God knows how many we took but we completely filled one side of the ground and turned it into a home game. I remember Dublin going around the entire team jeeing them up for it before taking up postion in the back four to counter attack Wimbledons long ball tatics. It worked and we won on that beautiful sunny day and what an amazing party we could have had on the pitch if all the other clubs at the bottom hadn't won as well and spoilled the party. I think the Villa didn't do us any favours either by lossing a certain home banker against one of them. Vinny Jones took tremendous stick but full credit to him he took it all in good humour.
did they both sign for Bristol Rovers as pro's ?Errington Kelly. I remember him playing for about half a season with AP Leamington in about 1981. played against his brother once in the Cov minor league about the same time.

was this the match when NW scored a wonder goal practically from the corner flag (which of course wasn't a cross that accidently went in) ?

Allways enjoyed going to Anfield in the 70's and 80', 78 i think league cup again took about 15000, drew 2-2 , foggy as fuck, great night against the best team in europe at the time. Where's it all gone!...................
