Has anyone ever referred to us as ‘Covo’? Is that some form of superior ‘Cov’ status?

Unfortunately our record there is pretty intimidating.

But I also really believe we can cause them all sorts of problems. The brief is simple, we have to win and we can win.

I’ve been a bit of a pain for a few days on their board, hands up.

I genuinely find their views on us and opinions quite surprising, they really are very tunnel vision.

Course we can. The past is the past. Makes no difference on Friday that we did poorly in 1982 or whenever it was.

We should have drawn our away game there this season by all accounts.

We hadn't had a top 6 finish for 47 years. Records are there to be broken.

I’ve been called lots of names the last two days, a couple surprised me but I’m not sure I’m a ‘c**t’. Must be something about my spelling....although I have to say, I’d be more than happy to smash these small time wankers into the ground on Friday.

Ok ok I’ve had a Stella of two.

Any word on ‘Covo’ anybody?

I’ve heard it once before. A Welsh mate of mine reckons a couple of his mates worked in cov and were calling us Covos. He went on to explain that they reckoned everyone in cov had bad teeth so Covos also became a nickname for bad teeth.
Dunno if that helps?

Ironically the night he told me that story he fell up the stairs of a night club and smashed his teeth in. True story.
Don’t mess with the Covos!

Hostile... ha ha, there fans were piss poor in the away game and failed to turn up in decent numbers Saturday.

Is someone in there garage at night this week painting the bed sheets “welcome to hell” to scare us.

I’m pretty sure if we really wanted too we could create a good enough atmosphere to put the hairs up on sky blue players backs.

Constant support for the 90+ minutes being the 12th man will spur them on

Maybe they will do the 'slit throat' motion with their hands, but as it's Notts County, demonstrate it using plastic jacket potato spoons.

Intimidating :happy::happy::happy::happy:

Even their chairman seems to think they are in the final already, looking forward to reality hitting home Friday night for them.

it must be shite being in the shadow of a club sitting in your city. Forest are absolute garbage at the moment but still better than wee county....

Deffo got a small club mentality. Tbh I don’t have an opinion on them as a club but they certainly have some pricks on that board....

Mind you I don’t think they really like me either LOL

They really are quite annoying. Not usually bothered by this sort of silly pre-game nonsense, but they have really got under my skin. Snivelling and bitter.

If they go through I just hope they fail at Wembley. They seem genuinely convinced they're going up.

I hope if we lose against them then they lose in the final to an absolutely awful ref decision so Nolan blows his top.

He seems to get away with murder anyway when he goes off on one but it would be funny to see him meltdown.

If County do beat us I will wish them well at Wembley, if we beat them I will wish them well for next season unless they play against us. It is good to have a bit of spice going in to a big game.
